Odelecol Pretty good movie overall. First half was nothing special but it got better as it went along.
SanEat A film with more than the usual spoiler issues. Talking about it in any detail feels akin to handing you a gift-wrapped present and saying, "I hope you like it -- It's a thriller about a diabolical secret experiment."
Kirandeep Yoder The joyful confection is coated in a sparkly gloss, bright enough to gleam from the darkest, most cynical corners.
Raymond Sierra The film may be flawed, but its message is not.
dr nerdy At first when i heard of lego Chima I thought hit sounded stupid. what imbecile want's to watch a bunch of lego animal's fighting and doing what ever they do. then I decided to sit down and watch the first episode and i fell in love with the charters. the voice acting is lousy but with time comes experience. the story is entraining but not original at all. it truly the characters that made me enjoy it. they each had their own view on life and with that view came their problems. i should truly give the credit to the writers for their wonderful character development. but what they should do and i'm only on the first season so they may have already done this, bunt they need to kill of a not needed character and let each character's personality's reflect how they take it. this may be a bad idea and now that i typed it I'm felling like it is a little to much for a kid show.
Guillaume Tamburini First of all, I want to say I am surprised to see 2 of the 3 previous comment stating that this series is targeting only young kids, since Legends of Chima is probably the first show my 4 years old son is watching that really caught my attention. I have seen a couple episodes of Ninjago and I felt like it was not as interesting as Legends of Chima, by far.First of all, the universe of Legends of Chima is rather detailed, with a lot of characters, an interesting complexity in the relationships and interactions between them. The story line is also a strong point to me, I mean there is so much you can expect from a kid cartoon, but in this case, I feel like they put a real effort into it. I can't speak for the English Version since my son is watching the episodes in French, but the vocabulary is of a pretty decent level, and the french voices work for me. I actually watched the first and second season entirely with my son and truly enjoyed it.Additionally, the franchise has been used to create a series of video games that appear to be pretty interesting to me, especially Legends of Chima Online, which is a Free To Play MMORPG, very successfully using the Unity3D engine, which requires no installation and which is a very very decent game to me, even for hardcore gamer I am (or used to be). We enjoy playing together and venturing in the world of Chima with my young boy, which adds even more fun to the show when we watch it.In conclusion, I would recommend Lego Legends of Chima for younger and even older kids, and even though I am not a Fan of the Lego universe, at first glance. The 8/10 might appear a touch high, but it is certainly closer to the reality than the 1/10 it has been given in the other comments.
Jake Alereason Legends of Chima is a total unsuccessful series. But the successful and pretty decent show Ninjago, did make off a lot more money then this show with its great TV show and amazing LEGO sets. Since they discontinued Ninjago and brought this Chima thing, LEGO has made less money then Chima and were forced to give out free and sometimes discounted sets very early. The show has gotten a lot of hate and seems to be appeared for a very young audience unlike Ninjago's originality and family entertainment. Overall the show lacks a lot of stuff and is not enjoyable for any older kid or parent and barley for younger ones. Chima is a show of talking animals, gagging jokes, and a lot of disappointing moments when you just wish that maybe that awesome show Ninjago which was forced to bring back by fans who wanted it so bad because of how unsuccessful this show was. Trust me, it's not that great.
stripes_tiger What a great series so far, The stories are great and the characters are well done. What i am liking most about this so far is that almost all of the vehicles in the series look very close to the buildable models adding to the enjoyment value you will get from purchasing them. Like all shows, some episodes are better than others, but in general the series is well done. The computer animation for the show in general and the Backgrounds in particular are superb and keep you interested in watching. I for one can't wait to see more episodes. There are so many more plots for this show that Lego could run this for 3 or 4 seasons at least, so far we are mainly focusing on the Lion, Crocodile, and Wolf tribes with a few episodes getting a little in depth with the Eagle and Ravens tribes and one with the Beavers, very little has been seen of the Gorilla, Rhino or Bear tribes so i feel there are plenty of stories to come that will spark the imagination of all who build the models, Well done Lego. i have also made a fan page for this theme, simply type in Chima in your facebook search bar
