Reviews

Colibel Terrible acting, screenplay and direction.
Glucedee It's hard to see any effort in the film. There's no comedy to speak of, no real drama and, worst of all.
Asad Almond A clunky actioner with a handful of cool moments.
Allison Davies The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.
abovethestars I had doubts to, especially because not every show with so great reviews turn out to fulfill your expectation. In fact, I have whatched many shows with overrating reviews (in my opinion) and thought that this was going to be just like one of them. And the plot seemed only good, not great. So, I had doubts, but i gave it a try and I am so glad that I did. I didn't expect so much from this, but man I was wrong! I cant describe how good this really is. I have whached like every show there is. The good ones, the overrated ones, the funny ones, the weird ones, shows in almost every category, but this, this is beautiful. it is really one of a kind! It's not like all other shows, and i don't like that it is even comparable with Gilmore Girls(it sure is, don't know why) because that show is none of my great ones, i think GilmoreGirls is kind of silly, I haven't seen Juno yet but I imagine that it wont make it justice either. Im not going to describe what 'Life unexpected'is about, because everyone has already done that, but I am going to explain what makes it so great. It is genuine, it is simple and real. The actors are great. You feel with the girl, like you're in her shoes, and all the other character as well, you share their sorrow, their happiness, their confusness, their struggle. It is a heartwarming show which has a bit of everything in it. I find it a bit sad, but all the happy moment and all the funny ones change the whole picture, it is not that sad, in fact, it is a real life kind of story and it have the ups and downs and i love that about it, it is simply beautiful. I am so glad that i found this show, but also so sad that it got cancelled. When it died out a piece of my heart died to. It is really one of a kind and i promise that you will love it, just like I do.
chimeskd Found this show on Netflix. Watched both seasons in 3 days. I was hooked from episode 1. I cried on almost every episode in season 1. This is not your typical family/teen drama (which I usually don't watch). I loved all the characters and the actors/actresses were excellent. You really believed the roles and the story line. In some ways it made me take a step back and look at my family...appreciating everything that we have even more! This show makes you think. It makes you feel. It makes you cry (a lot) but it also filled with humor. Give it a chance, an open mind, and you'll be hooked...even for the 2 episodes it offers.I just wish they hadn't canceled the show which led to a rushed ending. Watching this story unfold would've have been a great love affair! Well, at least now I can focus on cleaning my house instead! =)--Addicting--
J C This family drama handled a number of difficult but timely social topics such as foster care, adoption, single parent family relationships, foster care abuse, adolescence, peer pressure. You name it they dealt with it. The writers kept me in stitches and at times in tears. The uber extended family Thanksgiving scene was priceless. I thought spitting on the turkey was very symbolic. The writers definitely drove home the message that no person or family is "normal". I was particularly impressed with the acting from the younger stars like Britt Robertson (Lux). The music and scenes of Portland were an added bonus. In general, this was one of the best family series I have ever viewed.
mirandacrs I watched this on Netflix, the first two seasons, in 2 days. I loved it. I was so attracted to many different aspects of the show. The characters did such a great job acting, and they were so believable that they really play with your emotions as if you were really there in the show as well. I really hope they will do more seasons of this show because I will be a fan forever. The ending of the second season however, did really get on my nerves though. very abrupt, and just ending so fast without answering most of the questions I had. Love the characters, Love the show, I love everything about it. There is a lot of things that I would definitely have loved to change about the show, but it is a good show for kids about 13+.
