Why so much hype?

Clever, believable, and super fun to watch. It totally has replay value.

I cannot think of one single thing that I would change about this film. The acting is incomparable, the directing deft, and the writing poignantly brilliant.

If you're interested in the topic at hand, you should just watch it and judge yourself because the reviews have gone very biased by people that didn't even watch it and just hate (or love) the creator. I liked it, it was well written, narrated, and directed and it was about a topic that interests me.

Put this on for my daughter and I'm stuck on it with her. It's great with cool characters and super colour animations. Can't wait for season 3 and more!

I loved series 1. I hope they come out with a series 2.The animated show is set in a modern, metropolitan Emerald City in which 12-year-old Dorothy Gale II befriends West, a young, street-smart witch grappling with dark temptations, and Ojo, a giant munchkin. After Dorothy discovers a strange green notebook hidden under the floorboards of her house in Kansas, a giant green tornado tears her whole house off its foundation, stranding Dorothy and her dog Toto in the magical land of Oz.Instead of the Yellow Brick Road, there is the Yellow Brick Line, a train system that seems long shuttered and unlikely to take Dorothy anywhere. She soon befriends a sarcastic, street-smart girl named West and a surprisingly big munchkin named Ojo, while also learning of the mechanics of magic and the dire magic shortage in Oz. Before the pilot episode is through, Dorothy will have made some surprising new friends and a potentially dangerous new enemy, losing one opportunity to get home in the process. In the last few episodes of the first season, it is revealed that this series is actually a sequel of sorts to the books as Dorothy's great grandmother is the original Dorothy Gale.

Loved it and I'm now 20 years old.Really wish that more episodes would come out because I think that Lost in OZ is really awesome. So what I wanna is where are the other episodes are because it's killing me not knowing what's happening after Dorothy meets the scarecrow in Glinda's castle. I also would like to know where Glinda is what happened to her. Does nobody know if they will ever make anymore episodes because I really need know what happens.

I can not understand why this cartoon was not picked up in a heart beat. It is one of the better thought out, quality animated kids shows out there. At first I thought it was a money issue where it costs just too much to make an episode of this quality of a cartoon, but something seems to be missing. Since 2002 and this show has not made any headway? It seems like the show is being held back on alt purpose.I am convinced there is a agenda in children's programs that is purposely manipulated to only broadcast shows that fit a certain mold. It is not only about the money or the ratings. Money is evil and ratings lie. We all know that by now. But more than that, this show definitely did not fit someone's plan for what children should watch and get exposure to.It had a good plot line, great animation, the characters were not annoying or just stupidly loud and obnoxious like 90% of the shows on Cartoon Network. I mean this is a show where EVERYONE that I have recommended to say is so much better than anything their children are currently watching. Yet it does not get picked up. Hmm...interesting.
