Synopsis

Sam Loudermilk is a recovering alcoholic and substance abuse counselor with an extremely bad attitude about, well, everything. Alicia I love this movie so much
Tetrady not as good as all the hype
Dirtylogy It's funny, it's tense, it features two great performances from two actors and the director expertly creates a web of odd tension where you actually don't know what is happening for the majority of the run time.
Kien Navarro Exactly the movie you think it is, but not the movie you want it to be.
leon_normand And Tom!Keep EVERYTHING else!!!Oh, that's too short for submission... I guess I have to actually SAY that I really like everything about this series - except for the Cutter/Tom storyline. I hope THAT is long enough...
julian-541-167530 Well cast, superb script, edgy humor. Very entertaining from start to finish, I hope they make a second series.
kirtil-2 I really liked this one. It was fresh, and different in not pulling any punches or trying to be pc. It had an unlikable main but still managed to be upbeat.that is until they introduced the cutter-tom storyline. up to that point I was ok with unlikable Sam, because while he always had a bad attitude, it was honest, and direct and not taking any sh.t kind of way. But with cutter-tom they dived right into psycho territory. it was not fun, it was not honest.. it was just... really really illegal and bonkers.I would have rated this a masterpiece if the whole cutter-tom line was handled differently or cut entirely.
doncasual-1 (DISCLAIMER: This review is based upon watching the first two episodes of "Loudermilk.")In response to other reviews, I think the writing's okay... Which is to say it falls somewhere between 'sucks' and 'Wow.'It's a shame the central character falls into the same category. It might be interesting to see Loudermilk display some real emotion or feel something other than the droll, dickhead "Well, life sucks. whaddaya gonna do?"And it would be interesting or at least different to get involved in a scene that *doesn't* have the main character in it carrying the hulk of the dialogue. But, other than all that, "Loudrrmilk" is an okay show. And I laughed out loud many times while watching it. I'd like to see the show get better because it has lots of potential. One more thing: I know it's cheaper shooting in Vancouver, but the Sun shines WTF two weeks a year. It The weather is more depressing than parts of the storyline.
