Good story, Not enough for a whole film

The joyful confection is coated in a sparkly gloss, bright enough to gleam from the darkest, most cynical corners.

The film may be flawed, but its message is not.

I have to say, this anime was pretty interesting with involving kinda a World War 1 atmosphere and we get to see two men who are different from each other, making love despite their different backgrounds. Taki comes from a wealthy family and Klaus comes from the Western alliance which I think is from the other side of the Japan army? (I haven't a clue). Anyways both the guys realtionship did seem very complicated like if they both were found out, they probably would get killed together or either one of them would remain alive. I was actually scared that Klaus was going to get shot actually when Takis army found out that he did work for the Western alliance but thankfully, Taki came to the rescue and cleaned him up. I honestly want to see them two be together regardless of Taki saying he wants to continuing on with his family tree and breaking up with Klaus. They do deserve each other regardless of the rough sex we are seeing on this anime! Very good anime and honestly it's pretty well done by being a very forbidden gay love anime story!
