The writers do a good job, Matt le Blanc is good as always, the directing isn't bad, the show's music had to grow on you but doesn't take too long. All in all the series could be great, and in walks Liza Snyder and the show just cannot be believable. I don't know why the casting director didn't just go for the other girl who auditioned (maybe there wasn't another girl who showed up).
So here's my review: If you want to laugh sometimes for the jokes and don't mind sitting through horrible acting. Then give this show a go

Like the show ,LebLanc is great and enjoy Stacy Keach and Kevin Nealon. However I do not buy Liza Snyder as Leblanc's wife although she plays the character well enough. She just doesn't look right next to Leblanc. She is a little too heavy-set and seems to be gaining more weight in second season.

Another show with an overbearing abusive loud mouth wife pretending almighty. This throttles any comedy that might have happened. LeBlanc is good in small doses but not as a main character. Kevin Nealon is quite good and gets the 2 stars. The plot has promise but can be predictable, line then laugh, line then laugh pattern regardless of content.

Finally a good comedy show! Enough with the trying-to-be-funny shows with the silly and annoying characters! I haven't seen anything really that Matt LeBlanc did after Friends so i was hesitant at first because i thought he was going to copy the "Joey" character. But no, not at all! In this show he is a smart family man and he is totally pulling it off! I believe the show is one of the funniest I've seen for a long time and believe me I've seen a lot ! The casting is great(i love Liza), the acting and the scripts are good and that is all i want. It is great to see LeBlanc maturing and acting as a loving husband rather than a womanizer. I loved the show from the first episode, i think is great. Exactly what you need after a long stressful day to relax. Hope it's coming back for more seasons!! Keep up the good work !!
