I wanted to like it more than I actually did... But much of the humor totally escaped me and I walked out only mildly impressed.

Great story, amazing characters, superb action, enthralling cinematography. Yes, this is something I am glad I spent money on.

Mental Block is a totally cool show. I don't know where it plays in the USA, but in Canada, it's on YTV. The hero, Donovan, has these kids living in his head, and yeah, okay, one of them is a girl. But why not? Having a girl in your head doesn't make you "think like a chick"! It just adds a different perspective. (And if you think having one out of four people in your head be a girl threatens your masculinity, you really got a lot more to worry about than this show!) And that's what Mental Block is about -- how a thirteen year old boy navigates his way through high school, like it's a space mission or something. The kids in his head are each really different. One is a really impulsive, macho guy who comes up with really dumb ideas. Another one is a totally indecisive guy. And then there's the girl, who's sort of bossy, sort of a know it all.If you think about it, everybody's probably got different points of view that they work through when they try to figure something out, and that's what so cool about this show -- you not only see Donovan doing the same stuff real kids do -- but you also get to go right inside his head to see what made him do it!

I liked season one of Mental Block but I like season two even better. This show is funny and fast paced. It's about a normal kid, Donovan, who has four kids living in his head. Well it was about four kids but now Donovan, the main kid in his own head which just makes it even funnier. I know this sounds sort of hard to understand but if you watch the show you'll love it. The actors are all good especially the lead guy and his friend. The stories are about real things that happen to kids but it's all done with a lot of humour so it's not heavy or depressing. Like in the premiere episode of the second season, all the kids at Greenfield Park High come back from summer vacation trying to prove that they've changed big time over the summer. It's an experience every kid can relate to. This show plays on YTV in Canada and I don't know if it's on in the states but I hope so.

This show is the story of a guy named Donovan who has the voices of 4 other guys in his head. In the real world, he's in love with Chloe, the most popular girl at school. His best friend is Ira. There is also Shelley who is a little cryptic and Fiona. Like in every school there is a bully named Mcnally. If you ask me, this show rocks!
