The film may be flawed, but its message is not.

A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.

Only caught a few episodes before it suddenly ended... what I did see I found intriguing and very moving at times. The sort of show that inspires good deeds, don't you think?"Heroes" does that a little bit as well - despite the frequent gore ;) Let's hope it {Miracles} reincarnates itself one day soon.I'm not one to watch much TV, but when I catch one or two episodes of a show worthy of my time - I'll wait for it to come out on DVD so I can catch the entire series without interruption and in proper sequence.Purchased entire season of Miracles on DVD for just $10 on ebay - can't wait to be inspired!

Miracles is one of the best series to come out of the U.S. in years. Paul Callan (Skeet Ulrich), a troubled and lonely investigator of modern miracles, has just discovered that "we're not alone down here." And that this may not be such a good thing. During an investigation into the mysterious healing powers of a young boy named Tommy Ferguson, Paul is nearly killed in an unexpected accident - and only rescued at the last minute by Tommy's healing powers. But in those moments near death, Paul looks over to see his own blood forming the words "God is now here." Tommy heals him, but dies as a result - and Paul is faced with a greater quest than he ever imagined. As Paul tries to understand the ramifications of what has happened to him, he is approached by Alva Keel (Angus Macfadyen), an enigmatic former Harvard professor and current investigator of the paranormal - and who may have the key to Paul's vision in blood. The men join forces, each feeling that the other possesses the key to a larger mystery - the rapidly growing numbers of "strange occurrences" now happening all over the world. These occurrences - and the visions of others in near death circumstances (whose visions differ from Paul's by a single space, seeing instead the words "God is Nowhere") - may in fact point to a frightening and deadly "large event" already on the horizon. With the help of former police officer Evelyn Santos (Marisa Ramirez), these investigators investigate the "miracles" and unexplained occurrences now happening all over the world - and band together to try to find a solution to the coming "darkness"...before it's too late

My husband picked this show on its premier night. I was hooked! I watch very few shows on the ABC network these days, but this one was definitely a "keeper" in my book. Each episode slowly peeled back another layer of the very mysterious and complex lives of the main characters. A show with some depth, what a novel idea! This show reminded me a lot of the first couple of seasons of The X-Files. There was a "WOW! That was good!" followed by "Ooh, I wonder what's coming next week?". Anticipating whether the next episode would either address a personal issue of the main characters (that you actually cared about), or throw you right into the middle of them encountering and dealing with someone else's troubles. The show was constantly being pre-empted by news break-ins of the war in Iraq with fuzzy images of Ted Koppell in green night vision-o-rama. It's a shame that ABC gave "Miracles" the boot because not enough people were watching it when, in reality, they didn't give us the choice on whether to watch or not.

I decided that I would watch this show that aired @ten pm on Mondays because I had some free time. After that, I became addicted. I love all of the actors on the show, and I have seen them various other roles (Angus was Robert the Bruce in Braveheart, and the girl in the series (sorry, I don't know her name) was Gia in General Hospital, and Skeet has been in a lot of movies. I never missed an episode, and I hope they continue to air this television show. I believe it had a lot to offer, from acting to plot line. I really want to know what Skeet's character is going to do next or what town he is going to go to. In My opinion, it is one of the best telvision shows out right now (Other than BTVS)
