Linbeymusol Wonderful character development!
CommentsXp Best movie ever!
Livestonth I am only giving this movie a 1 for the great cast, though I can't imagine what any of them were thinking. This movie was horrible
Roy Hart If you're interested in the topic at hand, you should just watch it and judge yourself because the reviews have gone very biased by people that didn't even watch it and just hate (or love) the creator. I liked it, it was well written, narrated, and directed and it was about a topic that interests me.
chrisbluewolves hotdoggrandpa_182, you don't know what the hell you're talking about, you prick. Mock the Week is probably the best panel game show that I have ever seen. There is simply nothing dire about it at all. Anybody who does not at all like the show is a pussy, has low standards of comedy and needs to learn to laugh. All of the comedians are very funny and entertaining. The stand-up challenges such as "Scenes We'd Like To See"(my personal favourite) are spectacular.Dara O'Briain is a wonderful host. Frankie Boyle is simply a joke ace. Hugh Dennis is a master impressionist. Russell Howard is the brightest comedian all around. Andy Parsons is the best satirist on TV. David Mitchell and Ed Byrne also make regular guest appearances. It never fails to deliver a smile on my lips or make me laugh out loud. Also, the guests are not the same each week. There is a variety of comics adding their own flavour and style making MTW an incredibly superb and unique show. That way we can see things from loads of other people's different views. Contestants get points for being funny. They take this weeks news and spin it around to make it much more funny and lighthearted.Bottom Line: Sit back, relax and laugh your arse of. I do all the time! That's my review guys! See you!
niftyknikkers Personally, I find Mock the Week to be a very funny, clever show. Some of the comedians are funny all of the time, all of them are funny some of the time. Russel Howard and Frankie Boyle in particular are consistently brilliant. I live in the US and so don't get every one of the cultural references, but I still love the show. They're so talented that I don't even have to be familiar with the politician being lampooned to have a good laugh. The jokes range from insightful wit to sexual pun, but they always keep me laughing.Be sure to look for the scenes which were not included during the regular season, they often consist of some of the best material of all.
stephaniehorst I have to say I completely disagree with the previous comment. Mock the Week brings modern humour for adults to our screens in a brilliant manner. All the comedians bar one are fantastic; Andy Parsons does have the most irritating voice and is incredibly predictable with what he is going to say.Dara O'Briain is a brilliant presenter and ties the show together really well.Frankie Boyle though unbelievably politically incorrect makes me laugh without fail every time he speaks.Hugh Dennis and Russell Howard are fantastic as well, a personal favourite of mine was when Hugh voiced over a video clip of the Duke of Edinburgh - definitely a must see! The female guests who appear on the show are not funny in the slightest which is a real shame. All in all this is show is brilliant with some of today's best comedians finding the funny sides of today's news.
Freakanomic This is one of the worst programmes that has appeared on our screens in recent years. It takes a very good format (comedic topical discussion) and ruins it with boring comedians.Andy Parsons is quite possibly the least funny man of all time. He says unfunny things with predictable pauses and he has a very irritating voice. How anyone finds anything he ever says funny is beyond me.Hugh Dennis does little more than look smug and say the opposite of what his partner in Between The Lines says. Although sometimes he smiles. And we know how hilarious that is. Not very. And what are Rory Bremner and John Culshaw doing there? They rely completely on their ability to impersonate. Now you may be wondering why I gave this 2 and not 1 out of ten. There are two reasons for this: Dara O' Brien and David Mitchell.Dara is a fine presenter, as he has proved on the hilarious Irish programme The Panel and also Have I Got News For You. Coincidentally, they're both topical panel based shows. The difference? The Panel and Have I Got News For You feature the best of Irish and British comedians, Mock The Week features the worst.Bar, of course one of the finest English comedians working today, David Mitchell. Intelligent offerings are abound from this man who belongs on much better programming. I think now is the time the producers of Have I Got News For You gave him a ring.Yet somehow the audience love it. I sit in shock as they spend the whole painfully unfunny half hour laughing. I suppose it's a wonderful example of lowest common denominator tripe.
