What a beautiful movie!

The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.

Just intense enough to provide a much-needed diversion, just lightweight enough to make you forget about it soon after it’s over. It’s not exactly “good,” per se, but it does what it sets out to do in terms of putting us on edge, which makes it … successful?

Strong acting helps the film overcome an uncertain premise and create characters that hold our attention absolutely.

Interesting premise, clever dialogs but the actors didn't fit the characters. I didn't buy the fact that one of them was the shy/good guy, that other one is the one who gets all the women, and that the other was the cool-vibed one.As I said, this show had potential and some really interesting situations but the characters made it dull.I still recommend it. If give more time, maybe it would've a hit but some network execs. truly don't know a crap about continuity.Give it a try and you might surprise yourself. I watched it when it was already canceled. Latin American WB always makes the same thing; air canceled shows.

I'm sorry, but I think it's unfair to judge the show based on the first ten minutes - I think this show absolutely rocks, and is definitely one of the more superior new sitcoms on TV. I've seen the first three episodes, and it just keeps getting funnier and funnier. The three guys might be losers when it comes to getting women and finding love, but that's exactly what works - that they *do*, quirkily and hyperbolically, reflect different romantic aspects of guys today (sad as that might sound). Tim is the "plain" dude who doesn't know how to deal with women and who winds up in trouble when he thinks he's doing the right thing; Doug is the divorcée who has never been with anyone other than his ex-wife and now doesn't know the rules of the game (making him the funniest character!); Kyle is the "Joey"-type bloke who sleeps around and has trouble connecting emotionally. As characters the guys are hilarious through their own idiosyncracies, and Jane Seymour as their therapist is suitable sexy and sharp-tongued to put them in their place. All in all, MM has *huge* potential - I hope the show does well and goes on for at least a few seasons...it really does deserve to be a hit!

Molly: "Open your eyes Tim, I mean women make the same money as men, we're as well educated and with sperm banks we don't even need you to have kids anymore... My point is, we don't need you." That quote by Molly says it all for this Misandrist show. Another Feminist show to blame men for all the problems in relationships and in the world. When will the sick feminist sexist hate against men end? Men are treated like one dimensional idiots and be dumped and treated like trash. Girls don't have to explain anything to men because men are suppose to be able to read their minds.Men should avoid this MISANDRIST show unless they need a humiliating bashing!

Hey all, Saw it.If "Modern Men" is supposed to mean sniveling weaklings that scamper around to fulfill the latest request or social phenomena of the "Modern Woman", then I suppose, this show meets the requirements. If your a real man, view this at your risk. It will offend. If your a woman, than by all means enjoy. This made for women sitcom is full of male insecurities etc. This will bolster your feminist idea of the modern woman and yourself by exposing what men have turned out to be....useless appendages to society that have been replaced by a sperm bank. And if your a guy on this show and you want some relationship domineering smart woman to tell you what to do to perhaps "get some", follow the instructions if you can.Women rule. Gay's rule, Bush rules......heck everything but SWM rules. Welcome to the new world order where having a penis is a disadvantage.Hollywood political correctness swings so far that 50% of humanity is reduced to a punch line.Quite funny for the other 50%.Aren't we all get along nicely then?
