Most undeservingly overhyped movie of all time??

I gave it a 7.5 out of 10

n my opinion it was a great movie with some interesting elements, even though having some plot holes and the ending probably was just too messy and crammed together, but still fun to watch and not your casual movie that is similar to all other ones.

While it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.

A pile of dog toffee, they got rid of Derek Acora, and that ddodgy get in a fat pinstripe suit, they are the types that put me off paranormal investigations. Its always the same boring topic locations, fxxxng pubs and inns, statley homes, hotels....yawn yawn.. Then its 60mins of infra red camera shots, pebbles being tossed about (by the crew). screaming and shouting..To invoke spirits, you don't start a conversation just like you were asking for a jar of coffee in the corner shop...MH...is a load of cobblers

This is 'must see', turn the lights off viewing on a Monday night here for me in NZ. I admit, seeing is believing with me so do I believe in ghosts? The jury is out but I am open minded enough to believe that there has to be something. Some freaky occurrences when I was younger which I still, to this day cannot explain lead me to believe that, whilst there may not be ghosts per se, there may be spirits or energies that we cannot explain.I have just watched the episode at the Ram Inn where Stuart is physically assaulted by a spirit in the barn after Derek, whilst possessed by the spirit of a Witch, says they should go there. All this is built up to by Karl saying that he senses something is going to happen. If you are really cynical, as I can sometimes be, you could say this was all pretty contrived. But frankly, I don't think Stuart is that good an actor; what he went through freaked me out and I wasn't even there.I do find Derek a wee bit far fetched at times (and who the heck is Sam? - must have missed that somewhere along the way)and he REALLY loves the word residual doesn't he? But if he TRULY does know nothing of the history of the location before he arrives (I am a wee bit sceptical about that too) then his insights are remarkable. What I really do enjoy about this show is the historical aspect. As an ex pat Pom that is one thing I miss about my mother land - the sheer abundance of history and historical sites. I do think when something powerful has happened at a place, it does leave an atmosphere. I was sceptical when my Mother told me that she had felt such a feeling when she visited the Culloden battlefield.....until I visited the place myself. I have never had such a strong feeling as I did there and would love to have gone back at night. If ever spirits walk a place, its there. You can really feel the tragedy, the despair - it's very difficult to put into words. You just have to go there for yourself and experience it.Whether Most Haunted is contrived for dramatic effect, as I am sure is sometimes the case, there are still occurrences and phenomena that occur that cannot be explained. And I think this is something that the show illustrates well. We are arrogant indeed if we think we can explain everything in this world. Tragic, violent or significant effects do leave a residue. How could they not? Visit Culloden. If you are American, visit Gettysburg or Shiloh and I defy you not to feel it.Then go watch Most Haunted again and I am sure you will be a wee bit more open minded. Looks as if we are only in series 3 or 4 here in NZ so I look forward to many more episodes to come.

Most Haunted is the best TV programme EVER to hit our screens. I mean, who wouldn't enjoy watching Yvette fielding scream. Here are my views on the cast and crew. Yvette: Shes a really good presenter and she really gives everyone a lot of entertainment when she screams. The whole Pendle hill regression thing was so sad for her and Karl. I bet she was so scared. Karl: I LOVE KARL. He is probably my favourite personality on there. I think that if he wants to get paranormal phenomena, he doesn't have to have 'protection' if he doesn't want to. My best Karl moment was when he got scratched in Edinburgh. David: I love David Wells. He is so much better than Derek Acorah or "Kreed Kafer". I mean, some of the things that Derek came out with were good but I think he just filled the blanks with possessions. David on the other hand doesn't. I think there is only one point where he got possessed and that was at Pendle Hill. Can you blame him? He is also really sensitive because in the MH LIVE just gone, he was crying because Stu, Karl and Ciaran lay on the floor and said a 'death chant'. They didn't die of course but David was so upset. Bless him. Stu: I love Stu and I think that as time goes on, he is becoming more and more sensitive to paranormal activity. Him and Karl are best mates but when he gets possessed, he always seems to lash out at Karl like when he punched him in the MHL just gone.Overall, I think that Most Haunted is one of the best, if not THE BEST, programme on TV. I love it and want it to go on forever. My dream in life is to become a camerawoman for Most Haunted..ylimE xx

I actually like this show and find it very compelling to watch. Being Australian, it is kind of a history lesson, shown in an interesting way.I think that the show is credible, as it dosen't go too far. I've watched a show similar that was done here in Australia and it was just stupid. If people believe that it was fake, then wouldn't the producers be making more paranormal activity happen? I also like it, in the way that it balances it up at the end with the right amount of skepticism from the psychologists/ parapsychologist. I do believe that a show like this would work well here in Australia, as it has its own share of ghosts- Port Arthur in Tasmania is a prime example. Being a former Tasmanian, I was told many stories of the ghostly sightings. If people think that show is silly, then don't watch it.
