SunnyHello Nice effects though.
Marketic It's no definitive masterpiece but it's damn close.
Hadrina The movie's neither hopeful in contrived ways, nor hopeless in different contrived ways. Somehow it manages to be wonderful
Tyreece Hulme One of the best movies of the year! Incredible from the beginning to the end.
jimmullinaux It appears the Austrailians are every bit as good at crafting entertaining mysteries as their as their English cousins. A case in point is "Mr & Mrs Murder", a light-hearted Austrailian cozy mystery originally aired in 2013. Shaun Micallef plays Charlie Buchanan and Kat Stewart plays his wife Nicola. Together they operate a crime scene cleaning service, making them ideally suited for finding evidence and clues overlooked by the police. Micallef and Stewart imbue their characters with enough quirks and foibles that makes them entertaining and just slightly over-the-top. My wife and I have viewed this series many times and find something new and enjoyable with each viewing. Highly recommended!
pensman The premise is clever: a husband and wife operate a toxic clean company whose chief purpose is putting crime scenes back to their original condition. But somehow the duo get pulled into the who done it and end up figuring out what happened. This is all done tongue in cheek so you aren't expected to take it seriously. The laughs that occur are mostly chuckles and the crimes are interesting enough to keep you watching. The cast is fine and for the most part the stories come across as a sort of updated Tuppence and Tommy much like the older series Partners in Crime. Shaun Micallef is fine as the husband who uses his seemingly massive store of factoids to see connections among clues. And Kat Stewart is believable as the more cautious partner who believes it best to have the police nearby rather than go charging into a situation that could prove dangerous. Lucy Honigman plays their niece who finds herself, usually unwillingly, participating in her relatives' adventures.
Tony Nolan I really enjoy this show and give it 8.5/10. It's just not predictable, well-acted, tight editing & camera work and a great script. To start with I had low expectations as the promo was lame and the leader actor "Shaun Micallef" I felt would never be able to hold together an hour show, as I had seen him prior as a comedy compare. As it happens the series was written by Shaun & Jason Stephens and they have done a great job… well at least until episode 4 "Atlas Drugged" which is when I typed this.To put it simply this is a truly original spin on the murder-cop show genre in which the plot whilst still clever is really a simple elevator to the clever & subtle humour, derived from delightfully timed lines and fresh comedy writing. Watch it, this is a good show and there are so few on free to air!!
kmacmillan880 As a fan of the 'who dun it 'genre I love this show , from the groovy credits and music to the locations and story lines. Shaun is a genius. I love how they play the characters and how the stories unfold . Especially the quirky humor in the 1st episode with their mate in the wheelchair who seemed to know a lot more about murder than was healthy to know. Melbourne seems to be a great location for these plots to play out. I do hope the characters will have to travel for work and more cases so we can see more of Victoria. By and large I haven't liked any other Australia productions since the 80's comedy scene. Keep 'em coming' I say !
