Senteur As somebody who had not heard any of this before, it became a curious phenomenon to sit and watch a film and slowly have the realities begin to click into place.

fuadkhan2002 OK, So I started watching this series with my wife during our kids' winter break, and got instantly hooked on it! Each episode entails two stories which are purported to be inspired by real events( though I highly doubt it!), and are about 20 minutes long each. What we enjoy the most is the creepy atmosphere, jump scares, and best of all, the real/underlying story behind the hauntings once it comes time to unravel the truth. The cast of characters and places are assembled from all 52 states, and from different eras, areas and settings. A highly enjoyable series to watch late at night, preferably with a hot cup of cappuccino, and with all the doors and windows locked and lights dimmed!
annalow-19601 Critical thinking needed where child sick with cancer is being blamed for haunting. They are making a story from someone claiming a haunting said to be accomplished by a real person who is not in the room. Obviously a haunting by an invisible person could be blamed on any person say in the 16th century. Here they had the family memberremoved from the home and committed as a crazy person in a very disturbing manner. The child was hauled away screaming by men in white jackets because they believed he was the one in the room touching his sister when in fact there had been nobody in the room with the woman.Maybe it was a ghost! Much like the Salem witch trials. This story deserves criminal investigation if indeed it is true. Mental abuse should have been reported along with reporting the professionals who hauled the boy away screaming. Makes me diturbed for humanity who would believe this is possible and enjoy this. Also they moved into a house that had been a morgue. Their son was dying of cance. That is a sign of a sick mother who should be reported and watched. Maybe even committed So distespectful of her dying son. I hope someone can look into if in fact this did happen and report that mother. her.
chrismartin23-230-251217 The creators have obviously hired actors for both reenactment and the testimony. This is supposedly in order to give complete anonymity to those involved with the actual events that occurred. There is unfortunately no way to know for sure how much of the script is taken from real life testimony, so you either have to just hope that its a real story or use your judgment to realize what has been embellished. Most of these stories do seem to be based on real occurrences. That being said...I have to drop the rating for the show down due to the fact that Its hard enough having to watch the bad reenactments in these types of shows, but when the testimony is just as fake its doubly annoying, and then the whole time you are wondering hmm.. I wonder if her glass of wine actually turned into blood in real life? because you have no way to know. You can only assume they are telling the truth when they say they use fake people in order to protect the actual victims identities. But other people have stated there have been episodes with stories that are seemingly completely made up after scouring the web and finding zero connections to the supposed events.I will likely continue to watch the show and perhaps update my review of it later on. For now I will just say you should avoid it if you are looking specifically for actual footage or recordings as evidence of the paranormal or verifiable eyewitness testimony. It does have some good entertainment value though so I won't give it too bad a rating.
lynofbpool-61460 I figured this was a load of rubbish from the first one I watched, but gave it a 2nd, 3rd and even 4th try just in case I had happened to watch two stories based on real experiences, and maybe got a particularly bad episode or three. The first thing that jumped out at me and so obvious is... (pause for effect)...just seem to like...(pause for effect)...all the too perfectly placed pauses. If it's actors, playing the part of the supposed real people, as some like to point out, why not do what other shows do and have there faces blurred, or sat in front of a light etc many ways to hide your identity. The stories do not have any ring of truth whatsoever, they are all told in the same manner even when you remove the 'pause for effect' garbage. Then this disclaimer that appeared later in the series, oh dear! The most unconvincing of complete fakery trying to come across as slightly embellished truth if I've ever seen it. So I certainly do not need one reviewer trying to 'Let him explain...' I watch many of these shows, I realize they have to be embellished to hold interest but if these people such as in 'paranormal witness' and 'when ghosts attack' are telling their experiences as best they can, and let the production team add the fakery then fine, it's watchable, it's interesting, I've had these things happen too so I know they must happen to other people. But, as for ever telling us something is even loosely based on reality when it's complete garbage is plain wrong wrong wrong! OH I almost forgot, F.Y.I spoiler alert coming up=two young men go into a house they inherited, as soon as they walk in paranormal activity is happening within seconds, some time before this the uncle who was performing operations upstairs dies, he has been performing operations and had kept parts of innards in jars, on a table, covered with a cloth. NOW when somebody dies and the body is taken out, which from what was said was done by the state, even family, whatever...those jars would not, no way in hell, have been found by two young lads before anyone else. Also plenty more silly obvious mistakes that a child could point out.
