ChicDragon It's a mild crowd pleaser for people who are exhausted by blockbusters.

ChanFamous I wanted to like it more than I actually did... But much of the humor totally escaped me and I walked out only mildly impressed.

jondownie Started with a lot of potential, but goes round in circles. Undecided cop, power struggle on mountain. but the worst story line is at the end of season 1 / start season 2 . were there is a full on clash between cops and mountain folk....only to be "all a dream" or concussion at the start of season two. Like a child had written it. It never happened. its a bobby ewing moment...please!!!!

kristinaeolsen great series about the greed of mankind, the human race at its best,fully capable of destroying everything and everyone in the name of god, money, religion, land and power.. a struggle to live the life we want to the way we want to and where we want to...having the same rights as everybody else even if you choose to not be a part of a society that build its pride on turning the other cheek and segregate those who live on the mountain, out of fear and poor judgment...

mattvissicchio This show started out pretty well. We open by meeting Asa Farrell about to take his life because he can't handle the real world without his clan. He then joins back with his family, only to find out that the Farrells are trying to be evicted by the police due to the coal found in the mountain. Plot isn't bad, actually quite creative. But if it weren't for their silly and comical "rituals" and "language," then the show would be pretty intense and suspenseful. I enjoyed watching season 1 for the most part. It was fun, interesting, shocking, and it made me want to watch more. But, I should've been careful for what I wished for. Season 2 comes around and I have never been more disappointed in a show than any other I've ever seen. It lost all direction of the plot, the script writing was lazy, the action scenes were unbearably unrealistic, and the whole thing became a ******* soap opera that depleted my patience and all interest in this show. And don't even get me started on how laughable everyone's "Kentucky accent" is. My vote is 4/10 simply because of the first season and how it brought something fresh to the table, but never held it's part in the second season.

sdaarb I am very disappointed in the show. Here is why. My self and friends have outsiders parties at my home. But... NO LONGER!. We were sad to see the cut at pres.Trump by the doctor in the show. Who is president? (i don't know) answer was. ts just as well you don't know, it will keep your blood pressure down". That was a low blow, and uncalled for. To bad you had to screw the show for millions of people. I hope you are happy.We will see if your ad companies agree with you. We will watch NO MORE! I don't have anything else to say except this. Im sure you wont post this. Because, so many most likely agree with us.So, we are all watching to see if it is.
