IslandGuru Who payed the critics
Phonearl Good start, but then it gets ruined
Freaktana A Major Disappointment
Aspen Orson There is definitely an excellent idea hidden in the background of the film. Unfortunately, it's difficult to find it.
cherronw Don't get me wrong, the pilot episode left a lot to be desired. It was very forced and awkward. However, it got much better just by the 2nd episode. I don't find Modern Family funny, whatsoever and I am confused why people like it. This show deserves a second chance from NBC, I mean they had the Paul Reiser show for crying out loud! Not to mention 2 seasons of Outsourced, which was horrible! I think that if you like shows like How I Met Your Mother, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, or the Office you would like this show. I also don't know why people dislike Olivia Munn so much. She is funny and pretty! I don't think she is really like the character she plays on Perfect Couples, she is just acting folks...
grapesmuggler I confirm what others have said and just wanted to reinforce what others have already wrote in hopes that someone from NBC actually cares what people think about their shows. Perfect Couples was the best new show I watched this past season and I thought it fit perfectly into the Thursday night comedy block, well The Office, Community, Parks & Rec, and 30 Rock anyway. The episodes got better and better each week. This show was like Friends on crack. How people didn't think this show was hilarious makes me fear for what is to come next in sitcoms. The writing and acting killed it and makes the other couple shows that popped up this past season look second rate. Best of luck to the actors and writers, I'll never forget these original characters. Great move with the P. Reiser experiment NBC...that worked well. CW should pass you in the ratings in another year with decisions like this.
bellaperfection I hate these types of shows; they throw in the same plain looking type brunette girl that can't act. I really can't stand Olivia Munn, she's not attractive to look at all and just annoying to watch and she can't act, she's so plain and boring. Same old crap! I feel this show falls into the same category as the rest.. Same old thing, nothing special at all! Its good news for me they canceled the show at least if it kept on going they really need to bring in some better actors to replace some of the current ones, that are really NOT good!!! !! !! !!! !!!!!!! !!!! !!! !! !!! !! !! !!! !!!!
trunkmonkey88 This show got a little better as it went along, which isn't saying much, but it's already being pulled from the schedule (April 2011). This show is not as bad as the stinker that followed ABC's "The Middle" on Wednesday nights, titled "Better With You" (apparently canceled also). But speaking of "The Middle", I had to go do a little research to make sure the actors playing Axl on that show and Vance on this show were not related. They look eerily alike and their comedy acting is identical. Someone should team them up to play brothers in the future, or teenage and twenty-something versions of a single character. It's weird! Also, the second I heard the theme song for this show, I knew it had to be a New Pornographers tune. I was close as A. C. Newman from the New Pornographers wrote and performed this tune. Sadly, it's the best thing about the show. What is with all these shows like this and "Traffic Light" on Fox and that rotten "Better Wtih You"? Are they all just trying to be "How I Met Your Mother"? That's setting your sights low!
