Borgarkeri
A bit overrated, but still an amazing film
Brendon Jones
It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.

There is definitely an excellent idea hidden in the background of the film. Unfortunately, it's difficult to find it.

Watching it once is enough. Kim So Hyun finally has her first on screen kisses (and it is a lot!). It has some good parts but not much. Story plot is simple.

The drama is soft, bright and seem like a healing drama. While Korea now is full of dramas with serious plot twist and some people might call this drama is boring but i dont think so. The drama's background is around a radio center and each episode of the radio give you a story and a quote that help you overcome your pain or your sorrow. The quote can bring you a whole new day full of positive energy. And the chemistry between the characters were good too, both the main and the supporting ones. If you are tired of those mind-blowing move and need one to recharge and refresh your mind, then Radio Romance is ideal choice.

So, I've made it so far (12 episodes) and finally I convinced myself that it wasn't worth my time (plus way too many and more interesting dramas were out too). Radio Romance came out in a period when only few dramas were out and probably one or two of them worth watching. And with a cast full of stars, you kind of being forced to watch it. But, the first episode said it all. The pace too slow, the performances so so, the story boring, the romanct weak. When the background story kicked in, I told myself that this was it, the drama was taking off finally. Alas, that never happened. Turned out, that twist was boring too. Okay, the whole drama wasn't as terrible, but, for me, it's a drama that I wouldn't recommend.
