Synopsis

Two bored groundskeepers, Mordecai (a six-foot-tall blue jay) and Rigby (a hyperactive raccoon) are best friends who spend their days trying to entertain themselves by any means necessary, much to the displeasure of their boss. Their everyday pursuits often lead to things spiraling out of control and into the surreal.

Yvonne Jodi Unshakable, witty and deeply felt, the film will be paying emotional dividends for a long, long time.
tarastadic I still feel nostalgic about this title, mainly because I used to watch it every single day with joy. However when CN announced that Regular Show was going down in 2017 I was honestly very sad about it. Had so many good memories of this great title and to be frank I personally don't think that any other cartoon on CN can top this show.I have to say I did enjoy Adventure Time too, but unfortunately the show has been shut down.Cheers to every voice actor in this show and big shoutout to JG Quintel! P.SOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHGoodbye, Regular Show
Anna Granfors I'm somewhat biased, since I was the assistant editor on Regular Show, which was one of the high points of my career in animation. And since it's over, there's nothing left to spoil. But working with JG Quintel and the entire production staff was eggscellent (pun intentional) and working with the editor of the show, Bobby Gibis, was a pleasure. JG admits that The Mighty Boosh was an influence on Regular Show, and Mordecai and Rigby even crimp like the Boosh did. And it was equally weird, too...every show starts off more-or-less normal, then goes more than slightly insane, then resolves itself in a similar fashion. I'll miss it, but I'm looking forward to Close Enough, starting on TBS this fall. (I'm not spoiling anything there, either, since it's listed on IMDb.) I'll miss the characters in Regular Show, too, especially Eileen (voiced by Minty Lewis, who wrote and storyboarded as well), but all of them...Mordo, Rigbone, Pops, and the rest. Like the summary says, WOOOOOOAH! <3
joegratz The plot lines are either really cliché and boring or completely random and come out of nowhere. The characters are "totally cool dudes" and TOTALLY COOL DUDES ARE NOT FUNNY! And the worst part is that they're constantly screaming at each other. I simply cannot get past that.Cartoon Network needs to learn the definition of annoying. Uncle Grandpa is annoying. Problem Solverz is annoying. Annoying Orange is annoying. But Regular Show is the most annoying show I have ever seen. Hey J.G. Quintel, news flash: characters screaming at each other all the time is REALLY ANNOYING!Contrary to popular belief at Cartoon Network, annoying does not equal funny. In fact, just the opposite. Annoying equals something I do not want to watch. Anyone who says otherwise is an idiot and does not deserve to be working on TV. Heck, I could make a less annoying show than this.Tl;dr It's too annoying!
TheEightBitGrandpaShow "This show used to be awesome." That's what I said in my old review. But that's not true anymore! This show is awesome again! They WERE following the same formula over and over (they get put on a mission, and they have to go through tasks and stages to get what they are seeking), but they don't follow it anymore! So, as a result, the episodes are more entertaining. 😏Okay, so now the characters. I like how they animate Benson now. When he yells at Mordecai and Rigby, the artists try to make it as dramatic as possible, and I love it!!!! I also like that they drifted away from all that romance junk. I hated CJ. I'm so glad they aren't showing her anymore. I'm also liking the fact they are doing more episodes with Pops and Benson (my favorite characters) instead of just Muscle Man and High-Fives, and/or just Mordecai and Rigby. The only thing that I don't like is that they are trying to make it more serious, and intense. Kind of like Steven Universe. The problem is that this show has been on for 6 years (the show's 6-year anniversary was a few weeks ago, so, happy late anniversary, Regular Show!), and for all that time, the show has been giving off a really comedic, goofy vibe, so it's basically impossible to change to a serious vibe at this point. It just doesn't feel right. I don't even know why I am editing this review right now, and adding new tips. It doesn't even matter, because it has already been confirmed cancellation, sadly. RIP, Regular Show, you were a good friend to me for the four years that I watched you.
