I know its not accurate with history but if u want to watch a good show with good romance and craziness this is the show for u! Its been a long time ive watched a tv show like this. I absolutely loved it couldnt stop watching!

All I can say to the haters who have reviewed this series, " Anger Management, NOW". You sit thru 2-3 seasons and then you head explodes?? Did you do this over "Gladiator too"? It's LOOSELY based around real events, really just a setting for a teen-targeted chic-flic series. Other than "Bash" character's silly supernatural subplots (poor guy), most are interesting, can be complex, and move fast. Interesting characters, good writing for that targeted audience and it will also appeal to others who simply like good drama. For me, the political power struggles and scheming (which is 75% of this series), are done well. Certainly as well as the story of a certain blonde and her pet dragon. BTW - Americans make documentaries too, learn to distinguish.

Mmm... after having watched The Borgias and The Tudors, which are both fantastic productions, Reign is highly, highly, highly disappointing. Should have read the reviews first. The story-line is messy, sloppy, historically inaccurate and just way, way too fast - there's just no time to connect to the series, the scenes or the actors.
The main actors seem too young and inexperienced and it feels like they simply don't want to put their souls into the roles. It's a bit like "hé look at me I'm an actor and I'm so cool" - that really sucks and doesn't do it for me. Also the music is horrible and simply doesn't belong in the medieval time-frame that the series is supposed to be playing in. All in all, it feels the whole production is rushed and both the production team and the actors are under some very high levels of caffeine for most of the time. Sometimes less is more and slowing down a bit would have made this series a lot better already - there's simply no eye for detail in the series. If you want to watch Reign, then I would recommend watching Reign first, then the Tudors and finally the Borgias.
