This is a gorgeous movie made by a gorgeous spirit.

I didn’t really have many expectations going into the movie (good or bad), but I actually really enjoyed it. I really liked the characters and the banter between them.

Story: It's very simple but honestly that is fine.

.Like the great film, it's made with a great deal of visible affection both in front of and behind the camera.

This show is not about religion at all. It may show them In Church a couple times. Watch till the end. U will like it. Someone didn't give it a chance. And I'm not sure where this one review for hillbilly comes in. Lol. Must never met a real hillbilly I'm an avid movie and TV watcher. And this is a keeper. I love just about any type of show that is good. I'm a very hard critic and I enjoyed this.

Based on the first season, I would have given it nine stars, but after seeing the (frustrating) direction the writers took during the second season, I dropped it to one! The first season was intriguing. You had sympathy for the characters and wanted answers. However, the second season became more of a soap opera and revealed virtually nothing. I wanted the episodes to head in the direction of why the dead returned but was greatly disappointed instead. After several episodes I lost interest. After it was cancelled, a fan wrote to the local TV critic inquiring about the ending, how the writers would have explained the dead returning. Well, it turns out that they never planned to reveal this, for they had no explanation!! Now, if you base an entire series on an incredible premise, you damn well better have an explanation! Not doing so is not only a disservice to the fans but is poor writing. That is THE reason for a one star rating.

We have watched every episode so far and sorry to say but in its second season, it's sinking fast.Like another ABC series "LOST" a few years back, RESURRECTION started out with an interesting premise but it has been quickly going down a very dark hole and we longer want to watch. The show is well produced and well acted but not so the story lines. The stories have turned just plain weird - almost satanic. Instead of offering a vision of what an afterlife or the return of a loved one might be, it dwells on all the most morbid of possibilities. It obsesses on evil and darkness and to what end? I really do not understand what the agenda of this program is but I know that we are no longer interested given the wrong turn the series has taken.During the run of second season of episodes, viewership was down by half. It seems unlikely that the network will bring it back. Let's hope not.

Let me start by saying that anyone who gave this show any rating above a 5 must be shill and have a gig on the cast or crew. We know that never happens on IMDb, right? I wanted to like this show, could have had some really freaky story lines, I like Omar Epps, House MD.may have been my favorite show of all time. But what an implausible mess! American kid found alone in a rice paddy in rural, China brought home by one ICE agent who finds out he has been dead for 30 some years? Then said agent covers it up? Nope, there would be FBI, CIA, U.S. State Dept. NSA, Homeland, DOJ Alphabet Soup all over that hot mess. The kid would be at Groom Lake strapped to a gurney 300 feet underground with a camera up his butt.Let's say that Agent Epps did cover it up? Now the whole town knows and the religious zealots in the local fundamentalist church have lit their torches and foisted their pitchforks. Shouting that Lucifer is among them...Yet no one has called TMZ, CNN, Jerry Springer or better yet resurrected Morton Downey to blow the lid off of this story? In this age of tweets and twits, dead people rising would flame across the blogosphere faster than kittens on a piano.Bad acting, no humor, no drama,no weirdness, no coolness, no fun. Just looks like a bunch of people trying to get a paycheck.IMDb score of 8.0? That is the territory of House, Sherlock, Twin Peaks, MASH to name a few? No way, this is tripe for the feeble minded and not worth your time!
