Synopsis

Perhaps their strikingly different personalities make the relationship between detective Jane Rizzoli and medical examiner Maura Isles so effective. Jane, the only female cop in Boston's homicide division, is tough, relentless and rarely lets her guard down, while the impeccably dressed Maura displays a sometimes icy temperament — she is, after all, more comfortable among the dead than the living. Together, the best friends have forged a quirky and supportive relationship; they drop the protective shield in each other's company, and combine their expertise to solve Boston's most complex cases.

LastingAware The greatest movie ever!
Titreenp SERIOUSLY. This is what the crap Hollywood still puts out?
Solidrariol Am I Missing Something?
Leoni Haney Yes, absolutely, there is fun to be had, as well as many, many things to go boom, all amid an atmospheric urban jungle.
llhanley-23068 Shameful. I just saw the episode where a young man and his girlfriend are walking along the beach and he wants her to go swimming with him AND SHE FLIPS HIM OFF, on prime time TV. Base, rude, offensive and disrespectful. Why not just say the word and skip the gesture. Really teach young people it's OK. No respect shown is no respect earned. And I was watching this with my Mother. I actually had to rewind to make sure I was seeing what I was, and sure enough, there it was. And then he's in the water and throws a shoe at her head, which, of course, turns out to be one with a foot in it. Why not just hit her with it? Normally I love this program but this gesture caught us all off guard and we're all hoping it isn't a sign of what we can expect in the future. TNT, take some advise from your audience, we don't need to see snotty, disrespectful young people doing anything, especially this.
johnanthonymazzei Episode 5.1 Announcing the death of a cast member. This was done in the last minutes of the episode and in a lazy fashion.Things I learned from this episode: 1) The only guest stars on the show are the killers. Three possible guest characters / suspects;ex-husband, current girlfriend and a pedophile. 2) You are going to jail if you are a pedophile. Even if you weren't part of the murder and actually helped the police solve the case.3) Police officers take their mothers to crime / accident scenes.Summary: The show isn't about police work, it is about dealing with middle age as it pertains to police work. While the audience waits for the lesbian break out episode.
markmi-78-996219 While there are rare moments that are good, so much of the 'acting' is just terrible. I really wanted to like this... but could not.Angie Harmon... cute, but acting... not so much. Sasha... better, but cannot carry this show. While I really appreciate networks investing in scripted dramas instead of going the cheap way (reality), this was a reach. It is too bad that this site has a minimum of 10 lines, and it requires to add rhetoric. I actually do not write reviews (which may be evident), but after trying to watch a few episodes, I was inspired to share. Some may be fascinated... I am not. I actually tried to like this show. I really did. There were just too many moments that made me cringe.
decookie Rizzoli & Isles is a great old time detective family show ...only with two beautiful intelligent females. Brilliant detective work performed by a female detective with a dry "cop" sense of humor and a hilarious female medical examiner who scares off men by diagnosing their illnesses while out on a date built into a great detective murder mystery program!! Someone has finally come out with a nice, clean wholesome show that can be enjoyed by the whole family. No sloppy sex scenes, no filthy mouths with bleeped out words...Just a very enjoyable murder mystery program!!! Thank you!
