cathylr I watched this show as I was a teenager and must say that if season 1 had a great potential, interesting characters, a sense of humor and great script, for some reason, I never got hooked. Season 2 took a direction that I didn´t like, with more science fiction and less psychology. I saw a few scenes of season 3 out of curiosity as I wanted to know if I should regret not having followed, and never regretted it. It is possible that this show would have deserved better as fans called for season 3.

malea_sellens I won't give out any spoilers. I think that even though this show ended in 2002 it is still amazing today and well worth the watch. I really recommend watching before forming any opinions. The show exceeded my expectations. I was very young when this show aired so i had no clue it existed. I really did enjoy it. I wish there had been more than 3 seasons. It would be awesome if they did a reunion season where they left off on season 3. I really got hooked on this show. I couldn't stop watching it. I finished all 3 seasons within one week. Everyone played there characters perfectly. I couldn't imagine someone else playing there parts. This show was revolutionary. There aren't very many shows like it that are very good.

Armand it is not easy to say why I like it. maybe for the precise balance between love stories and Sci Fi. or for the smart script who gives to a teenager series new and special nuances. for the acting and for the tension. for the realistic special effects and for the links between characters. it is not an ordinary film because it propose an almost original vision. and because , despite few episodes, it is not exactly an action film but film of a story with universal value. the sensitivity, the delicacy, the science of detail, the performance of Jason Behr and his mates, the impression of life story are pillars for a series who not has as purpose to seduce but to remind old fashion questions. and the result is a good one.

hendra_setiawan_1980 At first, I thought it's gonna be something like Star Trek or Stargate. I patiently watched the show for 2 seasons to wait for something "exciting", but nope. Just a story of raging teenager hormones and some alien thingy as side dish. Imagine that, the show claims to carry the alien theme, yet the display of anything alien is so little to none. I still give it four instead of one because I was rather "excited" at the end of season 1 where alien enemy is revealed. Oh yeah, finally something alien that's not involved in face sucking or hormone related lover quarrels. But soon I become disappointed at how the story finally reverted back to hormones. At the end of season 2, I just couldn't take it anymore. I opened wikipedia to see how season 3 had in store for me, and yes, further disappointment. Lucky I haven't downloaded anything yet. For teenagers who crave to be "special" (as in dreaming of having special powers or the desire to be "important"), this show is just the thing to help you feel special or important. But to those who wishes to seek sci-fi or alien, my suggestion? move on to the next show. Hell, even V is way better than this.
