Plantiana Yawn. Poorly Filmed Snooze Fest.
Diagonaldi Very well executed
SeeQuant Blending excellent reporting and strong storytelling, this is a disturbing film truly stranger than fiction
Haven Kaycee It is encouraging that the film ends so strongly.Otherwise, it wouldn't have been a particularly memorable film
CKCSWHFFAN Keeping in mind this show is supposed to be for teenagers. Teenagers who can NOT think or see bad acting & ideas.I have watched some of the episodes because I am Partridge Family fan since its debut 39 years ago.So, the Cassidy Brothers are behind this. They did NOT think too much about plot or even cast names. David & Patrick characters are David & Patrick. Shaun produced & Ryan works on the set. I think ABC Family got a cheap deal using David as they name in it.You get tired in about 2 seconds of the oldest teenage boy attracted to his cousin. That should have STOPPED after the characters were established as family members. Not much acting required for this show. The characters have no depth. Same facial expressions. We get, David as a former rock star.Even the episode where Shirley guest starred. Worth to see her, David & real life son Patrick on screen together. The young woman who plays Ruby Alexa Vega , cute but not very talented. You forget her in a minute. The other son, slightly over weight with an occasional smart line. Gee, I think they need to work a lot harder if they were trying to get a clone of Danny. He had timing. Unless you are a fan of David or Shaun's & want to see their work do NOT bother with this light weight fluff.
Janie Hernandez I was excited about watching this show because as a girl I had a crush on David Cassiday as well as his brother Shaun Cassidy. lol I have watched the first three shows and have really enjoyed it so far. The show is well written and funny in the right places. The actors seem to ad lib in at times which makes the show even more enjoyable. I'm an older viewer with two daughters ages 17 and 6 and I believe the show is appropriate for them to watch, in fact the show is appropriate for the whole family. I hope the show is on for many seasons to come and I look forward to watching future episodes. I'm happy to see that ABC Family is true to it's name by broadcasting enjoyable family television.
Kyle Mallory This is a good little sitcom that can be entertaining and good for your whole family. It's got plenty of little jokes thrown throughout and is setup like your standard half hour comedy. It does lack some development and in some ways may be better off as an hour long show, but the half hour does get the job done fairly well. It's not very original, other than mixing up a few different plots such as cousin having a crush on a cousin, long lost daughter finds washed up rockstar dad, and has been brother fighting with rockstar. As I said above though, it is quite entertaining.Sadly, if your looking for original, you'll be looking for a while.
ldavis-2 Wasted a half-hour of my life last night on this "comedy". As if the whole premise wasn't bad enough, the set-up was awful. This girl shows up, and informs the has-been pop star that she's his kid, and he just accepts it! Not only accepts it, but dumps the kid on the brother he has been feuding with for the last 20 years, who also accepts her! Makes sense to me, too!The hook is that the brothers were a big Wham!-like pop act 20 years ago. Their "video" has them don these silly wigs and lip-sync to this retched song while a girl (now married to one of the brothers) does her best Tawny Kitaen. The "video" is so lame, they don't even bother to make the brothers and the girl look 20 years younger! The brother who gets dumped on, now pushing SUVs, longs for the good old days, while his son (a graduate of The I'm SO Hot School of Acting) wants to be Kurt Cobain when he grows up. And naturally, Ruby, who can't carry a tune, has delusions of musical greatness.David ought to be ashamed for whoring out a sorry episode of his life. And Shaun -- I just want to kick myself for having the biggest crush on you! You're not only a sell-out, you're a hack! And you weren't even that good of a singer!
