I was totally surprised at how great this film.You could feel your paranoia rise as the film went on and as you gradually learned the details of the real situation.

I tried to watch and wanted to like it but oh my... from scene one this show is cringeworthy! The characters are horrible. Olivia is such a bad character and has only one, stale expression. She always feels like she needs to ride the high horse and the show has to keep mentioning how "badass" she is. Ok if anyone is really badass they don't need to keep saying it ok? And the president... don't even get me started. A cry baby non-presendtial badly casted loser who doesn't stop whining! Please spare me.

Liked the finale except for David Rosen poisoning made me LOL. Poisoning was tried once before with failed attempt to kill Cyrus. To revisit this rehash again is hilarious and took me right out of the episode. C'mon, writers -- couldn't find a more imaginative way to kill off Rosen? Seriously? As for Stevie Wonder's new song in the season finale -- it sucks! No disrespect but he ain't no Will.I.Am and doesn't have to be. Why didn't he stick to his genre instead of rapping? I love his music but this ridiculous rap song for season finale really made the finale SUCK for me as I had high expectations of a song that nailed it (no disrespect to the actors). Aretha Franklin, Queen of Soul (a woman) should have had the honour of doing the season finale song! R-E-S-P-E-C-T!!! End of story!!! Thank you to all the stellar actors of Scandal! I will truly miss this series. Cheers!!!

Scandal was once a show I raved about! I would tell anyone that would listen how much I enjoyed it. Olivia Pope walked a line but She wore the white hat. Sometimes she had to make tough decisions but they were always for the greater good. I'm sure they will find a. Way to turn her into a hero again but the only thing motivating me to finish is the fact it's the final season. Don't get me wrong I love all the actors. I will forever be a Kerry Washington, Guillermo Diaz, Bellamy Young and Tony Goldwyn fan. With the exception of Season 4 and 7 such a fantastic show!!

I don't need to add anymore about the horrible writing , summed up by another reviewer who called the dialog "50 Chihuahuas going after one hot dog". This program is nothing more than a 30 minute 70's soap opera saturated with product placement. The premise that Olivia Pope is a power player is absurd. She is a compromised incompetent cluster*@ck that could not solve anything in real life.This may be the laziest writing and research for technical background I have ever seen on a major TV show. Their lack of knowledge and terminology how thing work in real life is either lazy or incompetent. From " two F-15's are waiting on the Carrier ready to take off" (try Wikipedia) to numerous medical, security and government protocols that could never occur in real life, only shows that this program only wants to be about comical love stories made for 16 year olds.Unbelievable on too many fronts for anyone to not just laugh.
