As somebody who had not heard any of this before, it became a curious phenomenon to sit and watch a film and slowly have the realities begin to click into place.

Easily the biggest piece of Right wing non sense propaganda I ever saw.

This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.

This series was such a wonderful surprise. Great character development, storylines, engaging, realistic characters makes me want more. Kudos to all that were involved in this project.

I felt compelled to write a review on this show. It's brilliant, entertaining, acting superb as well as the writing. There are many shows I like (game of thrones, blacklist, happy valley, etc.) but I have to say this one is so real it draws you in and you just want to watch and watch. My first review. What a great show. Unbelievable job to all those involved (actors, writers, directors, casting etc.).I guess I have to have 10 lines to submit this.I just hope this show isn't cancelled or already cancelled as I only recently started watching it. Real people, real problems, no glamour just amazing stories that the general public can relate to. Day to day shnit!!

Wow! Discovered this Brit series by chance and got hooked immediately. Characters are written with depth and honesty, their private lives brimming with challenges and uncertainty, while the major cases they explore are are also pretty fascinating. Of course, the acting is terrific. Scott (Lesley Sharp) and Bailey (Suranne Jones) are an unlikely but compelling duo, one a dutiful wife and mother; the other single and screwed up. Their back stories are no less than riveting. Casting across the board is seductively brilliant, including, in recurring roles, Amelia Bullmore as SCI Murray, the detective in charge; Nicholas Gleaves, as another detective in the squad; and Rupert Graves as a sexy barrister who nearly destroys Bailey's career. By the time you get to episode 5 or 6 in the first season, you start worrying that there are only 3 more seasons to go in this wonderfully satisfying drama.

I will continue to watch this because there are 3 female leads, and I am a feminist at heart. This program shows that women can be inventive, thoughtful, insightful and that interviews do not need to be horrifying. On the downside, Rachel really has to get control of her alcoholism and it should be recognized as a problem for her and those around her. Ideally, this should be done on screen. It is apparent that this is a show run for and by women, but you have to stop disposing of men so indiscriminately. One or two "for the girls" but the just dropping like flies thing just make the concept seem silly. The portrayal of the chief (the 3rd woman) really needs work.
