Skyler Great movie. Not sure what people expected but I found it highly entertaining.
westsuccess I was recommended this by a friend and thought i'd give it a go.I was surprised by the production level, with excellent graphics, HUD definitions, and GPS tracking.Wil lugs around all his equipment including cameras and gear, so u get a birds eye view of everything. He even has camera's mounted in some of his scopes. The Opposition Force known as 'OpFor' are usually a team of highly trained military combatants. This ain't skirmish. This is the real deal with everything but real bullets. It's well shot and pretty suspenseful the whole time.Bring on season 2.... please!
tpaladino I hadn't heard of this show until it showed up in my Netflix 'recommended' list, but once I gave it a shot, I watched the entire season in one day. Its a really great show, and very much different from anything else out there. Will is obviously a true professional at what he does, but also manages to come off as a likable guy. He's both businesslike and entertaining, but never cheesy or annoying. You never get the sense that he's just putting on a show, which is uncommon for reality-type programs. The show itself comes off as very realistic for the most part, although the producers do take a few liberties with editing and setup on occasion. I suppose this is to be expected, but is wholly unnecessary if you ask me, as the material is strong enough to stand on it's own, without much embellishment. It's very interesting stuff overall.I sincerely hope that more seasons are produced, because the possibilities are truly unlimited. I can foresee Will not only doing missions alone, but occasionally getting a team of 4-5 guys to lead on much bigger and more complex and realistic missions. It's great fun to see how it all turns out, and with more development and production value, I can see this being one of the headline shows for the Military Channel (it would even work great on History or Discovery).
