A Disappointing Continuation
SteinMo
What a freaking movie. So many twists and turns. Absolutely intense from start to finish.

The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.
Yash Wade
Close shines in drama with strong language, adult themes.

Haven't watched the series, just informing on where to watch. It was never released on DVD and is currently unavailable on Amazon, Google Play, etc. However, there is hope! All episodes are available to stream on Go90. It is a streaming service Verizon offers and is free. Just wanted to help someone who wanted to watch be able to.

Having seen so many TV shows so far, I still can't believe THIS ONE wasn't renewed for a second season. Such an amazing show, actors are perfect, not to mention good-looking, all of them, but like I said, more importantly, SO good at acting and, I mean, the way the story is developed... it's just WOW. I really don't understand how some stupid, bad quality shows stay on TV for such a long time and this one doesn't get to stay.

This is the kind of show where people say things like; "Did she have any snake bites? - No, the snakes weren't venomous". And "He used to be a soldier, violence is in his nature". And "You signed up on a dating site, you made a mistake. You won't make it again". And "Bondage, a true sign of a sadistic person."Yes, that's right. This show is really stupid. And you can add things like a single teacher living in a huge villa, everyone looking model- like beautiful. In addition to that, you've got the annoying main character, who's idea of a fun night is drinking wine with a friend and eating salad out of a plastic box. Everything is predictable. Absolutely everything, except who the stalker actually is. And the reason for that is because the stalker's character is introduced near the end of each episode. There's no way of trying to think for yourself and figure out who he/she is. It's just following the detectives until they find the person. Where's the fun in that?

Whatever the other plusses and minuses of the show, it's tough to recover from bad writing. Much of the dialogue is stilted and could have been cut and pasted from any of a dozen other police procedurals (special credit especially should be given to Criminal Minds...). And there are too many plot contrivances that don't bear up under even casual scrutiny, leaving you to answer "why did that happen?" with "well, they needed it for the plot".Like many cop shows, it's good for an adrenaline rush, but there are shows where you can find that plus a story that doesn't require you to take your mind out of gear in order to suspend disbelief.
