Karry Best movie of this year hands down!
Maidexpl Entertaining from beginning to end, it maintains the spirit of the franchise while establishing it's own seal with a fun cast
PiraBit if their story seems completely bonkers, almost like a feverish work of fiction, you ain't heard nothing yet.
Winifred The movie is made so realistic it has a lot of that WoW feeling at the right moments and never tooo over the top. the suspense is done so well and the emotion is felt. Very well put together with the music and all.
prosper1 Dspite a comic book caper story, this show has, in no particular order, great casting, fabulous set dressing, tremendous cinematography, a musical score so subtle you don't hear it (that's perfection in my mind) tight writing with great development of plots and subplots, superb editing.... and no I do not have an interest in this series other than being a lucky viewer Kudos to all involved on camera and behind the production, this will be a timeless series that appeals to anyone, anywhere with access to a TV; it really is universal, crosses all age, language and cultural boundaries.
james-92-305064 We're just watching the first series on Sky download. I gave it 9 rather 10 stars because it is a bit confusing! But apart from that, it is a brilliant action packed James Bond like roller-coaster ride of a crime drama. And it's glamorous too, from the gorgeous Sienna Guillory who places the lucky bracelet on James Nesbitt's wrist, to the glorious dynamic views of London. In fact London should be listed as one of the major stars of this film. This is the kind of quality action drama the useless BBC should be producing. Only problem with it is that it's a bit addictive!
Sam Green Very good acting by the cast. Great story. I stumbled onto this show over the weekend; saw Stan Lee's name attached and was attracted to it.Turned out to be a story about an unlucky man (gambling detective) who receives a bracelet endowed with good luck. It's more about the art of detection by uncovering clues to solve crimes than good luck. The show beautifully incorporates characters from various walks of life; very well-balanced. The first season is more than a perfect 10, I give it a 20 for being "brilliant!" Very rare quality programming and one to watch for as long as it lasts.I like the woman with the sexy voice who gives comments after every show; she says "Thank you for the messages" (which means the shows a hit in England) and "I can't wait to watch the next episode."
pmacken154 I was slow to warm up to this but now I'm a big fan. The detective story is intriguing, the developing partnership between Harry and Siri is a bumpy ride and very believable. I love the cast, James Nesbitt is strong as a superhero, a family man and a flawed man. The setting in London is awesome, we in Canada see so little of that city on TV. Actually, I love the whole United Kingdom aspect, once my ear tuned into the accents. The bracelet story is great, imagine anyone could be given this power and how they use it would be different for everyone, Harrys superpower is not necessarily permanent.... Oh! And I LOVE that theme song!
