n my opinion it was a great movie with some interesting elements, even though having some plot holes and the ending probably was just too messy and crammed together, but still fun to watch and not your casual movie that is similar to all other ones.

Mr. Lee Daniels please fix Derek and Alex, Noah is a mess and he is messy. Please don't let this love triangle be another Jahil, Mary, and Carlotta, Noah don't know who he want Star or Alex he's playing games with these ladies and it's not right at all, Yeah Alex messed up by getting caught up with this mess with Noah yes she was vulnerable her boyfriend is in a wheelchair for crying out loud. Alex kept important things from Derek she wasn't honest with him, she was stealing, etc her life got very complicated and she lost control of herself but everybody mess up make mistakes life is about second chances forgiveness, healing, starting over. Eliot forgave Cotton for what she did and they started spending time together and rebuilding their relationship slowly he ended up dying from his injuries because someone would not take no for an answer, Cotton was in love with Eliot but Omari just wouldn't let go of her and he begin to do things and hurt people all because Cotton rejected him. Enough is enough put Dalex back together, let Noah and Star keep doing their thing, Star likes attention we saw alot of that in Season 1 where she always doing things her way for attention, fame, and the spotlight..Alot of the things that happened to Star in season 2 where she was trying to get a head in the game and she got played several times with Noah. Star got jealous when things weren't about her, she kept her sexual secret relationship hid instead of telling her best friend Alex that herand Noah were a thing and I'm sure Alex would have step back with no problems. Noah tried several times to get Star to open up let her guard down and trust, but her past hurts makes her not trust anybody, Star needs to heal from her hurts.Star needs to forgive, let go of her past, let her dad in slowly, work on her relationship with her dad, begin to trust. Learn how to work with her group and not against them.they need to stick together so know one can tear them apart.
Season 1 songs were better to me, the songs were off the chart they had more fire and passion in the music, Alex wrote and arrange the songs the passion was there, they had better ensembles with the clothing, the hair styles were better in Season 1 it defined who they were they were themselves they did not have to change their image, Cotton had them on point with clothing, she sewed her a$$ off, the dance moves were whole lot better they were a natural. Take 3 should go back to what they did in season 1 as far as songs and dance moves, they need a (Missy Elloitt) Pumpkin, Big Boi, Gladys Knight from Season 1 to believe them, get them back to when they got to Atlanta they had zeal and drive. Carlotta can still be their manager their safe with her, she has there best interest at heart. Don't bring in another Ayanna Floyd to arrogant trying to hard, didn't like her character glad she was canned. I want to see more of Maurice and Carlotta's romance, get her back in the church setting, I hope she forgive Ms. Bruce and rebuild their friendship, I want Simone to get herself together in every way she's cool very outspoken, I love her character.
Love the show excited to see where the show goes from here. When is Derek going to walk again or is he going to walk again that's the question? Please no more drama with Noah and the ladies put him back with Star, and Derek and Alex work on their relationship put everything on the table Derek hear Alex out and Alex hear Derek out, let them build trust slowly no more testing their relationship they were good like they were. Show more previews for Season 2 episode 10. See you March 28th can't wait.

I love all of the songs and the cast and I really hope that this show will continue. If there is a season to I hope that Derek will be HEALED for Alex and their unborn baby! They are the beautiful role model couple who are living proof that love exists regardless of the things life throws at you and I think that'll be inspire Star and Simone and maybe even inspire Jahil.

The writing is very very poor. It doesn't make sens at all, even really hard to believe. Also hard to believe that it even crossed their minds as it's too far from reality and it's not SF. There is a huge lack of coherence. Dancing in front the police, the whole killing things, the families, the songs writing just before the show... actually nothing make sens and sometimes it's pathetic. You can't avoid saying few WTF for each episode. I put 5 for the actors at least, most deserve better. By the way Naomie is a good actress.I really don't like to say negative things or hurt anyone it's sad because it's more written to make quick money than to make something really good. It's a pity because these actors could really make a good show.

Jude Demorest's acting is nauseating....They have her trying to hard to be raunchy and "hood". She is a hot mess and I'm not convinced. I like the premise of what this show is trying to be but right now, it is pure garbage. Too much going on and too many side stories. It's ALL OVER the place. I tried making through the first 2 episodes and could not. The best thing about this show is Queen Latifah. She is the most believable character. The others, not so much. I think they should have done better at casting Star's role. I would also do less of the salon scenes. They seem to be filling up space and exist to only have extra drama effect. Every scene in the salon seems pointless.
