Reviews

TrueHello Fun premise, good actors, bad writing. This film seemed to have potential at the beginning but it quickly devolves into a trite action film. Ultimately it's very boring.
Billie Morin This movie feels like it was made purely to piss off people who want good shows
Lidia Draper Great example of an old-fashioned, pure-at-heart escapist event movie that doesn't pretend to be anything that it's not and has boat loads of fun being its own ludicrous self.
Payno I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
humankittehkat This drama was an excellent vehicle to showcase Jang Keun Suk's talent. His portrayal of two very different personalities was genius. Sa Do-chan, a doppleganger con-artist with a vendetta, gets recruited by the Prosecutor's Office when Baek Joon-su, a by-the-book prosecutor, is nearly murdered. For the remainder of the drama, the two end up "Switch"ing places to catch a white collar criminal whose fingers seem to be in every pot.I've read other reviews that say the drama was predictable. I do not agree. There were several plot twists, and enough action to keep me coming back for the next episode. While it's true there was only one big fish, he was involved in so many different schemes that it gave the story variety and kept it from becoming stagnant. The cast and crew delivered a well executed program that was well received, and fans of the series are crying for a season two.
phoenix 2 Jang Geun Suk's official come back and he chose a drama where he is portaying a con artist who changes places with a procecutor. Unlike other crime solving dramas with many cases, this one focuses only on one vilain that is connected to the main character's past. So, not much are happening on the story front. There was a big twist towards the end, but not that it isn't easy to predict it. Overall, the story was just okay. When it comes to performances, the switching characters was interesting, though it got a bit tiring after a while, and Geun Suk was good in changing personalities as well. However, at some point, the two weren't that different. Again, the game between who's who, even though it was entertaining at the begining, it got a bit dull. The rest of the performances were really good as well. Summing up, I think that Switch was just an okay drama and it was entertaining sometimes. Just, don't expect too much from it.
