Evengyny Thanks for the memories!
Solidrariol Am I Missing Something?
Aneesa Wardle The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.
Michelle Ridley The movie is wonderful and true, an act of love in all its contradictions and complexity
kellymarcalston I thought I would give this a try as this was the last hurrah for Robin Williams on TV. The writing is just awful and while I like most of the cast in other things, Robin mugs throughout, Sarah does a mock look of horror/outrage/embarrassment about 1000 times an episode and James Wolk is miscast as Robin's obnoxious doppleganger. Special opposite of a shout out to Amanda Setton for being the weak link in yet another sitcom (she was unwatchable on 'The Mindy Project').OK, one true shout out for Hamish Linklater who was also the MVP on 'The New Adventures of Old Christine' and can apparently make any POS shine brighter. It's no doubt his theater training but thank you Jesus that he makes this show somewhat watchable.
bellab1972 With such a great cast I was extremely excited to start watching this show and get a good laugh! I watched the first few episodes with a few friends and none of us even smirked let alone laughed at any of the cheesy one liners! I can't believe anyone finds this show funny! It goes to show how people's idea of comedy differs or how many fake reviews are out there! I am actually embarrassed for Michele and Robin because pulling teeth would be easier and less painful than watching the cast attempting to be funny! I'm so sorry but this show is just awful! How anyone can find this show watchable is beyond me!!
snowbell38 I am so disappointed with this series. I was looking forward to the Robin Williams I grew up watching and was hoping for a series my kids could watch and laugh at. I don't even dare turn on the episodes unless they are not even in the house. It is completely full of inappropriately disgusting sexual innuendo. I couldn't finish watching the latest episode. I was trying really hard to give it some time but I am done watching. So sorry this was the best they could come up with for Robin Williams. :( Terrible plot, too. The daughter should not have to try and suck up but she be honored for the qualities she can bring.
David Hauser I registered just to write this review because I think this series is highly under-appreciated. Robin Williams is simply brilliant. He always has a slightly tragic ring to his acting but this is what makes it great. If you like him you will like The Crazy Ones for sure. It's a light- footed heartwarming comedy that makes me smile and sometimes laugh for 20 minutes every week. It makes my week a brighter and happier one. The supporting actors vary between OK and pretty awesome. Sometimes I get the feeling some of them are only there to support Williams and Gellar and their jokes but some of them really are funny beyond that. Especially in episode 2 I had a good laugh when watching the whole duck business. My recommendation: Watch it!
