The acting is sooooo bad, it's cringeworthy. I don't believe a single thing any of them are saying because of how bad the acting is.

I am truly addicted to this show!
Enjoying the different locations, stories and history!
The ONLY critique would be Amy's vocabulary ... there are so many other words she could use than just good/baaaad. lol

I watched "The Whispering" episode earlier this week (Nov 2016). Homeowner Melissa Sterne was in absolute agony as a female ghost in the house (who had been murdered in the driveway some years before) took over poor Melissa's personality. Even her husband said "She is not the same woman I married" with tears in his eyes. At the end of the show, Amy Allan said "We should not be here. The best thing you can do is leave this place or you will die." Husband Brandon Sterne changed from caring husband to his macho military persona and retorted "We are staying put.We can't afford to move out." Melissa was on the verge of hysterics. "This house is killing me" she cried. Something did not set well with me about the conclusion. I suggest you go to your internet and type Brandon Sterne's twitter page (@VeteranofTruth) where he posts recent pictures of his wife looking like "a million bucks". She is in the arms of a couple of well known Hollywood actors at a recent movie industry convention. Gee, she is not dead! Another picture on the twitter page shows Brandon is very proud of their recent addition of a deck to the back of the house. Where did the money come from? The State of Washington, Office of Secretary of State, shows the Sternes started an LLC (Sugar Fairy, LLC) on 3/20/15 that seems to have lapsed 3/20/16. Sugar Fairy in urban jargon is the term used to describe a drug dealer who gives you your first dose for free, in order to get you hooked. Doubt the Sternes are selling drugs, but this seems to smack of sarcasm. "Hey gullible public, you are being played for sucker!" If this show is fiction, a disclaimer would be nice, before we all pour our hearts out to a middle aged homemaker who is a Hollywood wanna-be. The real person victim (besides the viewers) is the woman who was killed in the driveway in the 1990's. Her murder has never been solved. That may be the only part of this stupid episode that is true!

There's tons of paranormal shows out there but this one takes the cake. I love seeing the two perspectives from two different types of professionals. I like how they help people by showing what's happened there, what's currently going on and when Amy gives recommendations for solving/releasing the ghosts. I couldn't imagine being dead and not know or reliving a painful death over and over. I think the living and the dead need Amy just as much. I've gained a lot of respect for mediums through this. It's definitely been an eye opener! I used to experience things when I was little and I'd like to look into opening this back up again to be able to see what most can't. It seems a bit scary though. Amy would make a great mentor!
