Joanna Mccarty Amazing worth wacthing. So good. Biased but well made with many good points.
Mischa Redfern I didn’t really have many expectations going into the movie (good or bad), but I actually really enjoyed it. I really liked the characters and the banter between them.
Calum Hutton It's a good bad... and worth a popcorn matinée. While it's easy to lament what could have been...
Aspen Orson There is definitely an excellent idea hidden in the background of the film. Unfortunately, it's difficult to find it.
debdshaw60 I love this show. The storylines interweave so beautifully. It's about a young doctor who has recently finished with her residency, who is running from her crushing break up by moving to India to work in a hospital. The inner workings of the individual character's back stories unfolds from episode to episode. There's humor, drama, friendships, a bit of intrigue, and even some romance. I highly recommend this!
Bennettskaya The acting is very good and the direction allows the actors time to show complex emotions. Without it, the series would be ordinary fare. Well, the beauty of the setting helps. And the switch back and forth between different scenes in different places - very nicely done - the emotion ramped up in one setting, then a switch to the other setting and we can breathe out. Cleverly and sympathetically done.
Earl I truly love this episode! It dealt with a subject I am too well familiar with and done with great grace and style. You have made India a place to visit and learn. The growth of the characters was as expected but the acting was the right touch. I look forward to the next season. Possibly with two more characters added. I'm not sure if the woman who stayed to be with the doctors son is one, but there are angles there to use. Another doctor will be needed. Unless you make next season 7 years later this cannot be the same son spoke on but is progression to becoming a serious doctor can be added. I am thinking more that there should be both a male nurse and female doctor added. The male is strong, handsome but trouble. Bad background and friends who maybe the third season sees the error of his ways. The female would be an exceptional doctor who is Indian and resents the perceived better "English" doctors.
lh-142-355316 What a picky bunch some of you are. Just be glad something with 6 episodes has been set outside Europe. I only started watching in episode 4 and have caught up on STV player. I was guessing Goa where I have not been as the location due to the area not being 'dry'. Where did it ever say 'set in Kerala' all it has said is 'seaside location'. Love the mix of mature and younger cast, decorated elephant, fishermen, hippies, goats etc. I've not been to India since 1973 and this series captures many of my memories despite the fact that the hospital I was in was a more modern one even then. I met people who had been in the hospital with goats in the wards. So this is a lovely nostalgic mix up. Thanks to all involved. Can't wait for the next 2 episodes.
