The series was produced by Nordisk Film for Danmarks Radio TV station between the years 1970-77. The series' first director was Ebbe Langberg, then Erik Balling and Tom Hedegaard respectively. The series was conceived by an author team of well-known Danish authors such Leif Panduro, Benny Andersen, and Lise Nørgaard.

Reviews

Actuakers One of my all time favorites.
Konterr Brilliant and touching
SeeQuant Blending excellent reporting and strong storytelling, this is a disturbing film truly stranger than fiction
Lucia Ayala It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.
moreschisusanne It's danish "movie-making" at it's best , it write it this way because it was shown as a series in Denmark, not as a movie. And i can say this much the streets in Denmark was empty the nights it was on TV, It's the kind of movie you want to watch with your family around you, it's funny and very down to earth. The characters are so well displayed through the players that you just Have to see the next episode, just to know what happens next. Although you don't have to see the episodes in sequence, they can be viewed individual too. But still better to watch as it was intended as a series. From the little old maintenance man Meyer, to the owner of the local pub "rottehullet, they are all very well done, a masterwork!
Helene Laude This show benefits from its simplicity - take a broom, two beers and a bit of imagination, thats the recipe for this show. I my opinion the imagination runs out all too often in this show. There are 84 episodes, I think, they could have cut 2/3, then it would have been a really great show. The quality of each episode changes with the writer, but the geniuses make the watching worth while, the directing is generally good. The actors are just brilliant.
