Synopsis

Life’s good for deliveryman Doug Heffernan, until his newly widowed father-in-law, Arthur, moves in with him and his wife Carrie. Doug is no longer the king of his domain, and instead of having a big screen television in his recently renovated basement, he now has a crazy old man.

FuzzyTagz If the ambition is to provide two hours of instantly forgettable, popcorn-munching escapism, it succeeds.
Brendon Jones It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.
beauty-19755 I've been wanting to write a complimentary review about The King of Queens for a long time. I watch it almost every day. I have my DVR set. Even though I've seen all the episodes many times I continue to be entertained and love the show so much. It's so rare that a show contains everything and gels together so well. Great cast, great writing, great acting which always seems so natural to me. I'm grateful the show is in syndication so I can keep watching it. All the cast members are outstanding and seem to fit perfectly in the show. Of coarse Doug & Carrie, Arthur (Jerry Stiller) who is so great!, also Holly, Deacon, even Carrie's boss (Doug Pruzan), Alex Skuby, who occasionally is in some scenes cracks me up too, along with Doug's IPS boss, Mr. O'Boyle. The comedic timing and chemistry between Leah Remini & Kevin James is outstanding. This is one of my top all time favorite shows. Classic!
DPDIA King of Queens is a American TV show that lasted from 1998 through 2007. It is mainly focused around Doug and Carrie,-(Kevin James; Leah Remini) a couple from Queens, New York. Who welcome Doug's Father-In Law Arthur to stay in their basement. Unaware of the wild and surprising responsibilities that are soon to follow. I rate it so highly because of the humor. I am a fan of comedy, especially a comedy including Kevin James. Between Doug's character who is your average ordinary guy with a loving heart, and Carrie who is your complete sassy loving wife. It is truly a television show made for couples with a funny bone. 9/10 Stars.
fwdixon "King of Queens" occasionally has some genuinely funny moments but, unfortunately, they are very few and very far between.Kevin James is the beer loving dolt who is married to pretty but shrewish wife, Leah Remini. Living with them is her father, the absolutely unbearable Jerry Stiller. The comedy is mainly based on the husband screwing something up and the wife fixing it. It's all been done a thousand times before and there is very little that is original in this program. But the worst aspect of the show if the odious Jerry Stiller, who shouts and screams most of his decidedly unfunny lines, you know - just like Frank Costanza on Seinfeld.
Amanda Thomas This show is absolutely AMAZING! I am dead serious when I say that I have watched each and every episode of this show more than 200 times, I HAVE WITNESSES. No matter how many times I watch it, it STILL makes me laugh. I'm very surprised that this show didn't steal every award that it was nominated for. It is completely underrated. I really wish that there were even more episodes for me to watch. They don't make shows like this anymore! This show is like comfort food to me. It's hard to explain, you feel like you want to be apart of their family. If I had to live without ever watching this show again, I have no idea what I would do!
