CheerupSilver Very Cool!!!
Janae Milner Easily the biggest piece of Right wing non sense propaganda I ever saw.
Abegail Noëlle While it is a pity that the story wasn't told with more visual finesse, this is trivial compared to our real-world problems. It takes a good movie to put that into perspective.
Billy Ollie Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable
Justin Guidroz The League was one of my favorite shows. Funny, well written, well acted. A genuine fun time. But that hasn't happened in quite awhile.Around Season 5, the quality really starts to plummet, with season six being barely watchable and Season 7 limping over the finish line. Which is a shame, especially knowing ahead of time that this was the end, you would hope the creators and writers would try to give the fans some sort of memorable send off, but it feels as if they gave up long ago.The first 4 seasons are great comedy, very wonderful and funny. Each season has an overarching plot, the characters and situations are funny, all of that. It's all thrown to the wayside for the later half of the series, however.Taco goes from lovable stoner to oblivious jerk. Ruxin retains his character mostly. Andre's patheticness is one of the only constants in the series, and I love every cringy moment of it. Pete never really gained my interest. And Kevin and Jenny are just kinda there. Kevin gets really deplorable in later seasons, especially season 7.And I understand if you hate him, but I enjoy Raffi. I'm a Manzoukas fan. Randy is a little ehh, I started to dislike him the more he appeared, but I do like Raffi. All and all, don't feel compelled to watch the whole series. End at around season 4, maybe 5 if you really want more. You'll get your closure there. The final two seasons are not worth the trip.
Daniel Coe I really love this show, i find it hilarious, the characters are great. However, when i first started watching this show i loved how much they cared about their league and fantasy football and how their lives revolved around it. Once the series went on it sort of drifted away from this side of the story, basically making it about 5 guys and 1 of their wives, who seem to have a hobby that pops up, the league itself becomes a small factor in what should be the centrepiece of the whole show, I loved at the start where they went different places for the drafts and that they cared so much, but now it seems the only episodes related to the league are the first and last on each season.
HelenMary Difficult to rate because I'm conflicted. I have no idea why this hasn't been released in the UK, other than the fact that most of us probably don't get American Football references and it's probably not suitable to be aired on television generally. It's totally gross, sick, rude, inappropriate, blasphemous, obscene, cringeworthy and has jokes about just about everything that I personally find distasteful, and things that I'd usually turn off for. However, it is unavoidably hilarious. Laugh out loud funny even if you are berating yourself for finding something so horrible amusing. You know you should switch off but it's just too funny. It's definitely more boy-humour than girl-humour (think The Hangover) so I'm surprised I like it so much in that respect. None of the characters are particularly likable (I personally like Pete best), but you end up really attached to them, but the comedy is just so clever, fast and observational as well as horrible but there are some big names that have graced it's episodes from the world of Football and there's a great few eps with Jeff Goldblum to name one familiar actor - and he's his fabulous self as ever.Basically set around the antics of six friends who are part of a fantasy football league, and the lengths they will go to to win their league trophy - the Shiva, named after a plain girl who went to their highschool with them who is now a very attractive doctor and friend. Do not watch this if you don't like bad language, violence, drugs, reference to any body parts, bodily functions or anything of a sexual nature. Or if you are squeamish. Or delicate. Or of a nervous disposition. Currently on four series and I hope there are more.
rockgod1313 First let me say that while I am a HUGE football, and fantasy football fan, I have shown this show to many of my friends who know nothing about football and they still love it.An often overlooked fact about this show is that it is "Semi-Scripted" meaning that instead of a script the actors get more or less an outline of what events need to happen in the scene. Making nearly all the dialog improved. This just adds to the natural hilarity of the show. The cast is arguably the funniest group of people on TV, with only FX Network neighbors, The Always Sunny Gang, to compete.Watch this show....Now!
