ramdi It opens in a way that shocks you and it closes in a way that leaves you inspired. It is amazing to me how relevant this show is. It is captivating. Riveting. I usually can't stand shows that involve so much of the characters personal life and but Newsroom manages to keep the pace up so there is no dull moment and make it also relevant to the story. Tackle new media, technology and the changing social currents and manage to make you come out thinking there is still hope! Telling such a compelling story I binge-watched it by seasons... Having a strong emotionally moving moment almost every episode. Watching this in 2018 for the first time it feels so relevant! WOW This is The Shawshank redemption of the TV series Great talented writing. Loved the performances. Very believable and immersing.

lukeshulver The Newsroom presents an absolutely idealistic view on journalism and the ever present struggle for integrity and honesty in a corporate sponsorship and politically aligned multimedia conglomerate world. The opening episode with the tirade of truth on why America is no longer the greatest country in the world sets the standard for the entire show and rivals one of the best scenes in TV history - however the rest of the show and seasons falls sadly short of that incredible piece of TV. Having said that it still dares to break ground and waggle its finger at its corporate owners and the masses who hunger and thirst for celebrity scandal over balanced and informed news which effect their lives and will shape the world for their children. Its not The West Wing, but anything Aaron Sorkin produces or writes will always be on the top of my must watch list of TV. Excellent viewing.

denny-47 The series was awesome as far as the acting and the script, But it was easy to see that the show was created to push the agenda of the left. Much of the agenda is a matter of opinion, but when it got to the issue of global warming, it was so far off the real situation, that I wanted to stop watching it. The left still pushes the narrative that humans have been destroying the planet with CO2. But you can go to any web page and see that well over 90% of the greenhouse gases is water vapor, and the percentage caused by humans is less than 0.2 percent. The narrative is that the average temperature will increase 20 degrees in a few years. But even assuming it to be true, if you multiply 0.2 times 20 degrees, the result is that humans will have caused the average temperature to increase less than 4 degrees, which no-one would even notice.

curiousmolar This show is Boring as hell.Since I agree with all the stuff the lead talk about in this show. That is the only reason to give this show 10 Rating.I didn't even watched it past first episode.I mean, I know America is not the greatest country on this planet so, what.I don't care about it.And Their is nothing new about this show.And everything is predictable for me.Hence, it is boring. I know since I am not the targeted audience for this show. That is why I will not give it one star rating.
