How sad is this?

As somebody who had not heard any of this before, it became a curious phenomenon to sit and watch a film and slowly have the realities begin to click into place.

It really made me laugh, but for some moments I was tearing up because I could relate so much.

I really enjoyed all of these CNN documentaries of the decades from the 1960s on. The 1990s I enjoyed very much. In "The Nineties," the key stories of the day facing Americans are covered. We see the major elections, the violence and racial tensions, prominent stories and controversies, and memorable moments.I particularly enjoyed the episode covering the 1990s' music! In that episode, the transition from glam hair metal to grunge is covered, sometimes with footage and music videos from MTV. The great commentators like David Fricke, Lori Majewski, Michael Azerrad, Steven Hyden, and of course Alanis Morrisette have been consulted and are featured. Their coverage extends from books about Nirvana, 1990s music, and music in general that they have each written. They were present noticing what was going on, and relay that to the viewer in the episode "Isn't It Ironic?" a title taken straight from Alanis' album "Jagged Little Pill." I was noticing some videos I recognized, but in the section on Britpop, I was wondering if anyone could tell me which Blur music video is featured during that section? In the music video, the band's heads are revolving while they are singing. I've not seen it before and would like to know the title. Thanks in advance. So overall, "The Nineties" is worth watching and very good!

"CNN" is once again at it with it's decade series this time it's the 1990's a time when all of us remember the world was at a change! The technology boom and digital age was in full swing with computers, and the arrival of the online game the internet it connected us closer, yet with race the country was still split with things like the O.J. Simpson murder case, and the L.A. riots the police beatings of Rodney King. Also the black movement was felt on TV as many shows and sitcoms were a black movement showcase and cable would explode as viewers now had choices of over 150 channels to watch and choose from! War was still on the menu as the conflict in desert storm was most remembered. And on the political and national landscape a new president was elected the "Comeback Kid" from Arkansas Bill Clinton a southern democrat who was more moderate and to the center as he supported the death penalty and wanted to end welfare with a jobs bills he passed, yet thru his term it would be rocked by scandal much of those would be sexual scandals. Overall good look at 90's decade it's interesting, educational, and historical.
