Reviews

Matialth Good concept, poorly executed.
Mabel Munoz Just intense enough to provide a much-needed diversion, just lightweight enough to make you forget about it soon after it’s over. It’s not exactly “good,” per se, but it does what it sets out to do in terms of putting us on edge, which makes it … successful?
Jenna Walter The film may be flawed, but its message is not.
Lucia Ayala It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.
Owen Ogletree I grew up watching this show while it was on Cartoon Network, and I enjoyed it quite a bit. When I was a kid, I wasn't sure if I was supposed to like it being that it's a show about girls, but finding out years later that many other males eat this show up, I realize that it's okay. This show is about three kindergartners who were created by Professor Utonium with a mix of sugar, spice, everything nice, and Chemical X. The team consists of Blossom (the intelligent one and the leader), Bubbles (the cute, girly one), and Buttercup (the tomboyish one). They have various superpowers and are the city of Townsville's sworn protectors. One of the many things that made this show popular is variety. It may be about "girl power," but it isn't really a show that panders to girls. With spectacular and often intense action scenes, it can entertain boys, too. It often manages to have pop culture parodies and incorporates serious themes into the mix, which helps the adults get in on it as well. The three girls are adorable, with my favorite being Blossom. Professor Utonium, Ms. Keane, Sara Bellum, and the mayor of Townsville are great characters, too. The villains are some of the most memorable parts of the series. Mojo Jojo and Him are my favorites, but I also like The Gangreen Gang, Fuzzy Lumpkins, Princess Morebucks, and The Rowdyruff Boys. The show also boasts a unique art style and very a memorable music score played for whenever the girls are in action. Some of my favorite episodes are "The Rowdyruff Boys," "Beat Your Greens," "Telephonies," "Mime For A Change," "Boogie Frights," "Abracadaver," "The Powerpuff Girls Best Rainy Day Adventure Ever," "Him Diddle Riddle," "Knock It Off," "Octi-Evil," "Los Dos Mojos," "Power-Noia," "Helter Shelter," and "Child Fearing." There are many other great ones.My least favorite episodes are "Town And Out," "Toast Of The Town," "Sun Scream," "Girls Gone Mild," "Sweet 'n' Sour," and "Daylight Savings." Most of the bad episodes came from the 5th and 6th seasons, when the show hit seasonal rot and got very bland and uninteresting. This is arguably the most iconic Cartoon Network show there is, and it still remains one of the best (let's pretend the 2016 reboot never happened). If anything, I appreciate it even more as an adult. I recommend this show to anyone.RATING: A-
Salazar I disagree with anonymous from Brisbane, Australia. I've been watching "The Powerpuff Girls" ever since I can remember. If it's not for kids then why the hell is it on Cartoon Network and not in Adult Swim? Anyway, the show has humour that will appeal to both kids & adults and in my opinion is one hell of a family show! Yes, I admit that it does have violence and there is some blood but, when you think about it it's none the different from "Dragon Ball Z", "The Simpsons" and ,most importantly, real life. The show also has some important messages about life for kids, so I really, really don't see why kids shouldn't watch it. In conclusion to this review "The Powerpuff Girls" is one of the most greatest animated family shows of all time and I highly recommend watching it with your kids (that is, if you have any! But even if you don't watch the series anyways!).
Ninetails1991 I have watched this show for a while, only because of my cousins, and I HATE IT! First, the girls dress in the same style clothes, and they have the same first letter in their names. (Come on, I could to better than that!) Then the villains (spare me), first we have a monkey with part of his (little) brain showing, then we have a (gay) version of the devil, a pink hillbilly, a gang green gang (whit is ironic, that's their name) a spoiled princess (once again, ironic, that's 'her' name) among others. I have also found that there is no male hero in the show. (Not that I'm sexist or anything...) I'd rather watch Sailor Moon, it's much better than this. If someone else wants to watch the show in the room that you're in, find a way to break the television. Believe me, it'll save you a half hour of torture.Rating: I'm giving this just what it deserves, a 1 out of 10. Whatever you do, DO NOT WATCH THIS!
Maxim Tretyakov When I first watched this show on Cartoon Network, I found it uninteresting. Then I read a lot of good messages about this show, and I decided to watch it. The show was so boring. Each episode was predictable. More, this show has no logic. Hypersmart girls, who are going to school and sometimes do such stupid things, 99% of episodes start with a Monster attacking Townswille, then Mayor (he is a real fool, he is NOT funny, he is so stupid, that I can't imagine how he became a Mayor). Professor, yes, supposed to be the smartest person in this show, but actually... He even found no difference between monster and his brother. Narrator's comments also make this show boring. Because they also have similar lines in the beginning of each episode and in the ending. Also the animation is very strange. Everything except main heroes is shown in an ugly way. Also in every epsode this show is giving you some life-lessons, and it means that it is oriented on little children, but if you look closer, you will see, that there is a lot of violence and even blood(!!!) during their battles.
