I wanted to like it more than I actually did... But much of the humor totally escaped me and I walked out only mildly impressed.

Although I seem to have had higher expectations than I thought, the movie is super entertaining.

The tone of this movie is interesting -- the stakes are both dramatic and high, but it's balanced with a lot of fun, tongue and cheek dialogue.

In light of the John K situation, I won't judge the show based on him or his incidents. Anyway, what can I say? Ren and Stimpy is a fun and creepy cartoon to watch. While it may not be for everyone, the whole show seem to follow the path that some future cartoons had done - grossout genre, and now there's a dozen storyboard driven cartoons as well. On its merit, the show's animation is one of the best aspects. It's so smooth that it managed to stay fluid throughout most of it run. Props mainly go to Carbunkle Cartoons and Rough Draft Studios for their work. Writing wise, during the first 3 seasons, it's nearly hit. Not too many lame moments and there's only a few misses. Afterwards, it still hits but there's moments that made you shake your head. As for characters, Ren is definitely my favorite character and I can relate to him at times. He's just constantly funny with his outbursts and stuff. Stimpy is a fun character as well and still had his moments, but he doesn't beat Ren. There's other good background characters but we don't see them that much. I like that the BGM basically uses Associated Production Music which is also best known for being used in SpongeBob. I loved both opening and ending themes as well. Voice acting is full of energy. I enjoyed both voices for Ren. Billy West does a fine job as Stimpy. So does the guest stars/recurring cast. Aside from the occasional duds, it's still an enjoyable show. If you don't easily get grossed out like I do, this show is for you. And yes, I still recommend the Games Animation era. Definitely one of the most influenced cartoons ever. Unfortunately, those inspired cartoons doesn't hold a candle to this as they're more gross. This is gross out humor done right.

Hello again today I'm going to review a show that Nickelodeon used to air back the 90s Called The Ren and Stimpy Show. This is about a crazy dog named Ren and his Stupid best friend cat named Stimpy and their wacky misadventures. I didn't like this show until August 2005 when on Nicktoons Network Now know as Nicktoons. Anyway Favorite episode would have to be Stimpy's Big Day which air on Sunday, AUGUST 11, 1991. The show is pretty good. Most episodes I saw on Netflix in March 2012. Anyway my favorite character is probably Ren because he is very hot-tempered with Stimpy. Anyways I'm giving The Ren and Stimpy Show a 7 out of 10 stars. see you later.

The Ren & Stimpy Show, for me, is a very entertaining show. The animation is very amusing to watch! The reason I put 9 stars is because Seasons 3-5, when the creator John K., was fired, aren't as high quality as the original Spumco cartoons. Season 1- When the show was at its "cuter, more friendlier" time. Season 2- Extremely amusing! (the Carbunkle cartoons are the best) Season 3-5- Meh. Overall, Ren & Stimpy left a big mark on future cartoons. Although, Nickelodeon's cartoons today aren't especially up to scratch, especially Spongebob after the creator also left, and the Fairly Odd Parents since Poof and Sparky got introduced.

I love the Ren and Stimpy Show. While quite crude and vulgar, like Rocko's Modern Life, it is also very funny and entertaining. And I do consider it one of my favourite Nickelodean shows along with Rocko's Modern Life and The Angry Beavers. Why do I like Ren and Stimpy? Well the animation is great for starters, quite unique ins style, but it is colourful with interesting character designs. The music is memorable too, especially the theme tune which is one of one of the best in my opinion for any Nickelodean show. The writing is clever and funny if crude, you decide for yourself whether it is your taste or not, while the stories are interesting. I love the characters, I find them very likable and endearing, and the voice acting is top notch.Overall, a great favourite of mine. 10/10 Bethany Cox
