Kattiera Nana I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
Flyerplesys Perfectly adorable
Cleveronix A different way of telling a story
Nessieldwi Very interesting film. Was caught on the premise when seeing the trailer but unsure as to what the outcome would be for the showing. As it turns out, it was a very good film.
Robert F I guess I should file this under guilty pleasure but I grew up when much of the original material was popular. I found this a hoot in the way I do the Brady Bunch Movie(s) and the Chris Elliot show Get A Life. No, nothing great, but this had it's moments and they were pretty good moments from what I remember. It was a summer replacement show on NBC and later showed up on VH-1. Most vividly I recall the spoofs of Facts of Life, The Jeffersons and Diff'rnt Strokes. I was hoping to find them (probably only six episodes in all if that) on DVD somewhere, but so far no luck. I don't remember much while flipping channels but this one sticks out like a sore thumb (and I like sore thumbs).
mjshegog I loved this show. What is better than seeing some of the most known and loved shows re-run, than having them re-run with the same script with a different cast and an original cast cameo. They did the works, from Good Times and the Jefferson's to the Partridge Family and Facts of Life. The "slight" changes they made to costume and line delivery only added to the humor. I especially liked the pop-up style commentary that gave interesting facts, and said what we were all thinking anyway. Having an original cast member to cameo in one of the shows (as a different character) was pure genius.I don't know why it was so short lived.
snowball_236 This was a HORRIBLE TV show. The idea of spoofing old shows but having no script and bad actors doing it is just plain bad. It was like a very bad skit from "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" that lasts way too long. I am very glad to see this show get cancelled. NBC has put out very good shows (Scrubs, Seinfeld, Mad About You) and some awful ones (The Downer Channel, Cursed, Fear Factor) this is just another drop in the bad TV bucket.
MovieAddict2016 THE RE-RUN SHOW plays jokes off classics like BEWITCHED, THE PARTRIDGE FAMILY, THE BRADY BUNCH, and more. While more viewers tune in to this show, I think NBC will eventually cancel this show. The skits are a mix between SNL and MADTV. If you like these shows, tune into THE RE-RUN SHOW. It's nothing great, but it's funny, and with good ratings COULD become the next famous skit show-I doubt it though. 3/5 stars-
