Synopsis

The Slim Shady Show is an animated television series created by American rapper Eminem. Each episode is approximately five minutes in length. The shorts focus on the fictional adventures of Marshall Mathers' alter-egos Slim Shady, Eminem, Ken Kaniff and himself. The shorts were directed by Mark Brooks and Peter Gilstrap. Most of the characters in the shorts were voiced by Eminem himself, with other contributions from the directors, including Paul Rosenberg and Xzibit. Due to the explicit nature of the shorts, the DVD release received a BBFC classification of 18 in the UK and an OFLC classification of MA15+ in Australia. The animation used in the shorts is similar to the cartoon segment in the music video for Eminem's song Role Model.

Curapedi I cannot think of one single thing that I would change about this film. The acting is incomparable, the directing deft, and the writing poignantly brilliant.
Robert Joyner The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one
Teddie Blake The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.
Darin One of the film's great tricks is that, for a time, you think it will go down a rabbit hole of unrealistic glorification.
MilkywayCannonball Alright, this is what got me into Eminem. It's comedy gold. It's probably not for everyone, but nothing is. It's a clever spoof that deserved more than it got. I watched it a bunch of times. I had never heard of the Ken Kaniff character before. This show got me hooked. Was crazy for Ken Kaniff before I was even crazy about Eminem. Ken is just simply adorable to me, especially in this show. He's honestly the very best part for me. He greatly improved something that probably wouldn't be much more than mediocre without him. If only he had more screen-time though. Overall, this is very much an underrated and forgotten gem that got funnier the more I watched it.
leonblackwood Review: What a total load of rubbish! The jokes were terrible and the animation looked awful. The jokes about Versace, Robert Downey Jr. and Kurt Cobain, went way too far and I personally found them to be disrespectful. I really can't believe that the production team watched these episodes and found them funny. The South Park scenes were also a waste of an opportunity to make something special! Basically, this must have been made when Eminem was going through a sketchy period in is life because I really can't imagine him making something so bad, nowadays. Disappointing! Round-Up: If anyone found this series funny, could you please let me know because I thought that it was a really bad attempt at humour. It seems like Eminem used this opportunity to have a go at everyone that had said a bad word about him. Through the whole 5 episodes, I failed to laugh once so this has to go down as one of the most offensive pile of rubbish that I have seen in a long time.I recommend this movie to people who are into there animation series about Slim Shady and his friends, including his alter ego, going around causing mischief. 1/10
evilvet666 Before Eminem was a household name, he lived in a caravan with his mum. This itself is both true and funny. This show is fairly funny in places, but not nearly as good as 8 Mile. But it does have an awesome Screech from Saved By The Bell impression in it. As it was based on pop culture at the time, it is now ludicrously out of date. Eminem's characters have not aged, cause he keeps incuding Ken Kaniff etc in his albums and shows - but the other characters are long dead. Still, some statements about certain film 'stars' are still true, as is the bit where a bemused Marshall asks why on earth everyone cares about famous idiots instead of important people like doctors, architects and Lawyers. Only for people who like Eminem. Everyone else, watch Southpark instead.
davezilla69 Het, don't get me wrong, I love animation and vulgar humor, but this show sucked! I have tons of "not for kids" style animation and love them (like Family Guy, the Simpsons, Futurama, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Southpark, Rejected, and many more). I was excited to get this one (hey, I even like Enimem's music). Well, I popped it in and was completely disappointed. Who was this written for, potty-mouthed third graders? Makes Southpark look like the Smurfs?!?!? Who coined that lie? I'm not even a huge Southpark fan, but they are genuinely funny, this stuff, on the other hand was lame and barely slugged through each pointless episode. The best part was when I fell asleep through the whole middle section. I don't know, maybe I missed the best part (which I doubt). All I know is "I don't care". It was a waste of time and money. I can sum it all up in one word - "sucks".
