The performances transcend the film's tropes, grounding it in characters that feel more complete than this subgenre often produces.

It isn't all that great, actually. Really cheesy and very predicable of how certain scenes are gonna turn play out. However, I guess that's the charm of it all, because I would consider this one of my guilty pleasures.

It's funny, it's tense, it features two great performances from two actors and the director expertly creates a web of odd tension where you actually don't know what is happening for the majority of the run time.

There is, somehow, an interesting story here, as well as some good acting. There are also some good scenes

Contains spoilers. Here is some basic info about "The T.O. Show" -- a reality show produced by VH1/MTV.T.O. is Terrell Owens, a very wealthy NFL football player. He is big and athletic yet charming, good natured, respectful to the family that raised him, and easy to like. But, he also has some weaknesses. Watching the series it becomes clear that T.O. is the spoiled and helpless type. Basic chores and activities are all done for him. He is also a playboy pretty much having a new romance in each episode. The qualities and personality of his lady of the moment matter not because we all know that ten minutes later he will be calling out, "next!".Kita Williams and Monique Jackson are T.O.'s publicity agents technically, but in practice they are really his personal handlers. They are also his self-described matchmakers, therapists, and best friends.Pablo Cosby is credited as T.O.'s body guard, but he is more of a best bud. His personality is much like T.O.'s.As reality TV series go, this one is easy to watch. The T.O. Show is produced for, and shown on, Vh1, but it could easily find a home on any of many TV networks. It would be interesting to schedule the surreal fantasy life that is the T.O. Show with the grit and realism of the Direct TV drama Friday Night Lights. Anyway, it will be interesting to see how long the T.O. Show lasts.
