This Movie Can Only Be Described With One Word.

The movie's neither hopeful in contrived ways, nor hopeless in different contrived ways. Somehow it manages to be wonderful

The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one

A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.

Dan rides the comedy success of the clips he uses in his show. His commentary is unnecessary and isn't funny. Maybe it'd be helpful commentary if you were blind and needed the clip explained to you, but otherwise it's worthless. I could never understand why my peers enjoyed this show, since it's just viral videos from the internet with Dan just pretending he's funny in between. Why this show is on the air still is beyond me. Like I already said, a lot of the time his "commentary" is just him just telling the audience/viewers what the clip was about. What about tat is funny? I've already seen the clip, why even bother with the pointless comments?

This show makes me sick to stomach, not for its grossness or vulgarity (thought it is sickening in its own right) but more so to the fact that people continually contribute to the success of this garbage. It's basically a half hour of some smug pencilneck who looks like his mom dresses him making painfully unfunny comments and puns about internet clips that he had no part in while giving a cocky grin to the camera. When you watch this show, expect cringe-worthy awful jokes; for example he'll show a clip of someone falling down stairs and then say something like "he should have watched his step". Tosh.o is pretty much the equivalent of watching a youtube video and reading some 13 year old's comment below it. If you enjoy any semblance of cleverness or originality then avoid this show at all costs. I implore you to please stop watching and supporting this trash, I legitimately feel like I'm taking crazy pills because the thought of this show being popular and well-received truly baffles me...

Is this what we've come to for "comedy"? I sat through an entire episode and didn't even crack a smile. The host looks like he could be the next rapist with a smile like that. People throwing up or whatnot is apparently funny to people? How about if it happened for real? Is it funny then? I certainly hope not and I'm stunned that so many people enjoy seeing this very disturbing content. Heck, South Park doesn't go this far and they've been pretty offensive as it is but that I can sit through and at least relate to the characters once in a while. It may seem like I'm "not old enough" to see the show but I'm 24, which is plenty old enough for this garbage.

I have only seen about half of season three of Tosh.0 (free on youtube). If you like crude humor, which I do, there's a lot to laugh at in this show. Initially, I found myself laughing hysterically at both the videos and the comedic bits and to criticize the show based solely on the low-brow nature of the jokes is unfair and probably means that you just don't like that brand of humor. This being said, there's a real dark side to this show which, ultimately, far outweighs the enjoyable aspects. For the life of me, I cannot understand why a television show would make fun of people who often times are clearly getting seriously, seriously injured. It's one thing to watch a video where a person appears to get injured, but then they get up and, while perhaps a little bruised, clearly are okay. It's something completely different to watch a video and be left with the thought that you just might have seen someone get crippled or, in rare cases, even died, and then hear rather tasteless jokes about it. There is a sickening aftertaste to these moments and for all of the genuinely funny moments, if you are like me, this particular aspect is enough to cause one to never watch another episode.
