Brendon Jones It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.

Kirpianuscus everything what you desires is present in this bizarre, provocative, eccentric series. the love, the hate, the friendship, the revenge, the sentimental complications, magic, vampires, atmosphere of South , lovely characters, dark demons, shocking events, romanticism and essence of Gothic stories. each as ingredient of a total show. because it is more than a cult series or media phenomenon. it has the virtue to be a kind of mirror. for dark side of viewers. for discover of new and interesting actors. for the science of detail and status of time trip. and, sure, for the art to transform a trend in refined manner.

mitrapourmand let me say that i read two maybe three of the books and found them real stupid , but then someone told me the series were better so i decided to give it a shot and boy do i regret it . so , in order to give fair view to other people i have categorized it in to some main parts and review them separate : Actors : apart from miss paquinn they all looked either bored or just simply not talented . the two vampire ( Eric and bill) had people are dumb and we are making money from their stupidity written on their foreheads and it felt that there are times that these two are just simply suppressing giggles . others as i have mentioned above are simply not talented they there because i guess no one else wanted this roles ? Plot : what plot ? there is no plot . its the same thing happening over and over and over again , some villain( a cartoonish one) wants to use sookie for her blood .Hidden agenda : i understand the producer/director guy is gay , but did he have shove his own view of the world down our throats ? and whats with the hate towards Christianity ? this is offensive , i am a Muslim and as a Muslim i have nothing but respect for other religions and i find it hard to believe that by being blatantly rude towards religious people ,you become some open minded person.final advice : stay clear this is boring and offensive. people grow up watch something about reality of life and its purpose . Not some bul..... about fairies , vamps and werewolves.

John Citizen This show is a sheer joy to watch. It's the humour that is one of the best things about it, and hardly anyone talks about it. The juxtaposition of horror ( vampires graphically eating humans ) with the off beat, and truly hilarious humour is blended perfectly in this show, in a way that Buffy tried to do, but nowhere near as good. Every episode has moments that make me stop and laugh out loud. The wonderful southern accents and quirky southern country mannerisms have much to do with the charm and humour I think. The actors are all brilliant, and the casting was inspired. I can't praise the writers, directors and actors enough for making True Blood one of the best television experiences ever. THANKS !

strawbeliciouss This is the best Fantasy TV Series ever. I love vampire movies/TV series, but True Blood is the best. Anyway, this show isn't for everyone! Keep in mind that it is rated as "TV-MA" (+ 17 years old), and some people could be offended by some scenes. The actors are very suitable for each role. From my opinion, first and second seasons are a little bit different than the rest of the show. They seem "old". Seasons 3/4/5 are better and 6/7 are definitely the best! Every episode makes you smile or laugh, and sometimes you may cry from some kind of "sadness". Nearly every episode has "love" scenes. Don't hesitate, watch True Blood!
