2 pints is a British comedy series about a group of young friends and the trials and highs of their lives. Imagine 'Friends' if they were all teenagers, sex obsessed and drunk most of the time lol. Yu have a couple of stereo types such as Louise who thinks she is the most important thing on the planet and does not realise how she annoys people, Gaz the 'hunk' who thinks he is gods gift to woman but my favourite is Donna who is such a mix from loving to thinking she would rips your wedding tackle off. The comedy is crude and so is the language but you will see people that you know in the characters. The acting and writing are amazing and if you want to know about the 'pasty bikini' or why you should not trust sheep you HAVE to watch this show.

It's amazing how one's tastes change as one gets older. I was ten years old when this first came out and at the time I loved it. I was wary about revisiting after so many years, worrying that it would not have lived up to my happy memories. I was right to be wary, I can't believe I used to find it funny.'Two Pints Of Lager & A Packet Of Crisps' followed the lives of 5 twenty-somethings from Runcorn - slovenly Johnny and his equally slovenly girlfriend Janet ( Ralf Little and Sheridan Smith, who had earlier appeared with each other on 'The Royle Family' ), sleazy Gaz and his fiery girlfriend Donna ( Will Mellor and the gorgeous Natalie Casey ). The only one not to be in a regular relationship is Louise, an annoying, whiny voiced young girl with the mental ability of an infant.I tried watching this again recently but I found I could not sit through it. It was just far too hard going. It was badly acted and badly written. I do enjoy a bit of childish humour ( I loved 'Bottom', 'Men Behaving Badly', 'Spaced' and 'The Young Ones' ) but that kind of humour is only funny if it is done properly, Here it seemed far too forced.Like 'Little Britain', 'The IT Crowd' and 'The Office', 'Two Pints Of Lager & A Packet Of Crisps' should be locked away in a vault, never to be seen again.

This show is simply made, however genius. The cast for the show were a perfect fit, and the story lines keep the watcher enticed and begging for the next episode. After the first 8 seasons, the ninth was under-par but still quite entertaining, although the show ran for 10 years in total, they simply could not continue with the departure of Ralf Little. The hatred I see some people have for the show is unjust, I mean why watch a show that you don't like enough times to fill a review section with nonchalant comments like referencing one quote to summarise the whole show. Because I watched this show when it was airing it leaves nostalgia to my upbringing, and it I for one am thankful for the memories it has left me. To wrap it up, without a doubt my favourite TV show ever has got to be Two pints of lager and a packet of crisps and my favourite character was Will Mellor (Gaz)

This show, Is unbelievable, No word can describe it, It shows how life is in a small town, with Chavs and Chavettes, Beer and cigarettes, Johnny's character is genius, the way he acts and the way he can add comedy with expressions is amazing, and although it is the show which had the most cock-ups its still the best show to hit BBC in ages. This is by far my favourite show and I LOVE every episode. Especially the 'FAT' episode, that is hilarious. Also a very shocking TV series and shows how people may react to different events, Such as friends sleeping with your girlfriend *Gaz and Janet* and meeting a new family member *Gaz and munch* and *Louise and Her Dad*, I wish they didn't finish making this, I really think they should carry this on and make more of a series, an unbelievavle series and has my stars all the way.Dan
