Hattie I didn’t really have many expectations going into the movie (good or bad), but I actually really enjoyed it. I really liked the characters and the banter between them.

cinnamonsticks My husband and I watched the first few seasons of the HAHNs and every season it would get worse and worse. We just now removed it from the series recording on our DVR. Veronica I would like to kill with my bare hands. And Candace? Here in Detroit if there was a beyotch as cocky as her, they would have found her body behind a 7-11 along time ago! This so-called 'cop' that has the hots for Jeffrey is SO unbelievable that it makes my husband and I both want to put our finger down our throats. HOW UNREAL. We really had hopes for it when it first came out but two WICKED women in one show is just too much! And now this cop wannabe. I am surprised at you, Tyler Perry. You really need to let this go before it does get cancelled. I think you have been very lucky so far. This is NOT your best work! What the hell ever happened to TOO CLOSE TO HOME? Far better story line than this piece of trash. This is the first time we have ever stopped watching a show in the middle of the season. We just can't watch any longer. Sopranos, where are you when we need you most? I cried when that show was finally done. When the HAHNs are done, I will cry with gratitude!

After binge watching Queen Suga (excellent show), I decided I'd give another black program a shot. One which did not try and push religion and homosexual promiscuity as a way of gaining viewer acceptance. I gave this show a shot. After gritting my teeth and in disbelief of how very very incredibly awful this show was, I made it through the first season of stereo types, ba... uh Horrible acting, long drawn out stupid unreal dialogue. Most of the time I kept wishing I could jump into the TV and smack the characters in the back of their head and scream "just say what the hell you gotta say"... religious BS, a dementedly ridicules homosexuals storyline and absolutely no research on legal procedures... ummm since when can a restraining order be self served to a defendant by the plaintiff??? Really Mr. Perry? Since I was binge watching I decided to speed watch this show skipping seasons 2 and 3 picking up on season four to see if it got any better after a few seasons of figuring it all out. But NO! It was even worst. How the heck does something this awful remain on television when I have seen some absolutely wonderful shows get cancelled after 2 seasons. The Actors must be getting pennies on a dollar for these roles and Opra let's it countiune to air because it's a very low budget show, or she's doing Tyler a favor? I don't know, but man, this show does more harm to our society then help. It has the wealthy White Gods helping the unfortunate blacks, the evil religious fanatic, the gold digger, the dope dealer, the killing thug, the Italian mobs, the wealthy bougie black evil b*&$# steping on family and friends. Tyler and Opra, you should be ashamed of yourselves. I despise the show empire, but my complaints about it can be argued for a better insight. This show right here has no grounds to stand on what so ever. Mr. Perry stick to Movies. From your set design to wardrobe no one appeares to care. You have one scene where Erica goes in the bathroom to talk on the phone. She goes in in a bulky bath robe. In the next episode they pick up where they left off, but she's dressed in a mans shirt and sexy lingerie. Do you guys even take the time to review before you pick up shooting the next day? If you do not care about what you present to your audience, then your Audience should not care about giving this show a shot.

durur6 I wasn't able to sleep the other night and was channel surfing and landed on this thing. I honestly don't know the correct appellation to assign to this waste of time. The only possible positive outcome was watching the interaction of those who can actually act and those that have no clue. This is the paragon of just really bad awful horrible writing. I mean even the best actor can't rise above abysmal writing. It comes off as something written by a junior high school student failing English. Everything about this is lackluster. I've mentioned the writing. The direction is amateurish and disjointed. The art direction is hit or miss. Production design is banal. Costume design is adequate. The acting is so bad. I mean there are scenes where you can actually see the "actors" eyes moving reading the idiot cards. I mean soap operas are pretty bad. This is a whole new level of inanity. My recommendation is to avoid this entirely. There is always a rerun of something much better to watch.

myfddream I can't give this show more than a 4 rating because I don't feel some of the acting and writing is up to par. I think the only character who is saving the show is Veronica who is a very interesting villain. The hypocritical, dramatic Hanna is so annoying. There no distant trait about her that is appealing. There is no character development of who she is, what she been through and where she is going. She serves as figure in everyone else's life that is only there to yell, get angry, to horribly show she is supposedly a Christian. Wyatt who is not a teenager is being written as a spoiled brat on drugs who turned against his parents and ready to out them any chance he gets. Why not write him as such finding the strength to truly step away from them as grown man WITH HIS MILLIONS, and go live a better life and let his dramatics be with Jeffrey. Jeffrey character is OK, but still tends to be the weak little boy under his parents shadow that at this point in the story is just old and annoying. I truly hate the Benny character. I'm sorry but he has been written as just a momma's boy, a slave to his sister and almost like a slow thug who can't find himself enough to be his own person. I mean I just don't like a lot of these character direction. I started back watching because Veronica is the only well written character. Candice character NEVER appealed to me because it was overbearing and tiring to see her be the blackmailing prostitute that I really think she doesn't pull off well. The story with her child was just horrible. I only have 1000 words but I can't give this show past a 5.
