This is a dark and sometimes deeply uncomfortable drama

This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.

One of the film's great tricks is that, for a time, you think it will go down a rabbit hole of unrealistic glorification.

Okay, as far as I can see, most of these comments are on the morality or lack thereof of this show and the utter lack of acting talent. While I fully support anyone who questions the credibility of this show or questions the ability of the actors and actresses to act, I do not agree that this show is something horribly immoral and wrong. Morals are relative, not clearly defined by one person. Sex isn't illegal, and many people question their sexuality and experiment at some point in their lives. MTV has in fact abandoned playing music most of the time, but as most people know this, they should refrain from watching it unless they want to see something that's not music. Also, if teenage sex and homosexuality/sexual experimentation is something that bothers you or offends your morals, don't watch MTV (most of the time) or this show. However, those of us who don't care much about the educational value of a TV show (it rots all of our brains anyway) or the blatant sex (non-nudity) can watch this show all we want. Not all shows have to serve a purpose. Sometimes they just are. And this one is pretty darn fun to watch.

At what point did society go from "wait until marriage", to "try and wait until the third date"? And at what point did MTV completely abandon the idea of music? At what time did MTV go from "music for everyone", to "let's teach the youth of our viewing audience to engage in sexual activities"?It is somewhat poetic that Undressed premiered in '99, because it brought us into the millennium with a window of just how perverted our society, our movies, or TV shows, even our video games, have become. What isn't poetic is the fact that this show is aimed toward teens, not encouraging abstinence; the show is considered a comedy?!Well, that's what our society, especially America, has become. A JOKE. A wasteland of sexual deviants and so many porn, and wanna-be porn stars that the internet is flooded with nymphomaniacs. Whether it is a site dedicated to showing you sexually willing men and women of virtually all ages from your area, to displaying themselves involved in sexual acts for everyone, including youth, to view. Undressed being, basically, "soft"core porn, featuring youth, being displayed to youth (as well as horny old men just watching and wanting girls like, I dunno- YOUR DAUGHTER? Noone really cares until it's their children whose innocence has been lost.)We've gone from "possibly by college", to 1 of 3 girls losing their virginity before 8th grade. 1 of 3. And who's to say that one isn't going to encourage the other 2 to become involved in the same activity? Maybe all 3 will sit and watch a show like "Undressed", and the odds will go to 3/3.The moral decline in our society, and depiction of it on TV, is disgusting, to the point where I feel like driving a rocket into space to destroy our satellites.Movies like American Pie, one that advances the idiotic belief that oral sex isn't sex. TV Shows like Elimidate, Blind Date, and other monstrosities, and monstrous specials like "Naked Dating". I don't date anymore. I'd sooner go gay than become a plaything of women nowadays. If you care about your children, try your hardest to prevent Undressed from being released on DVD, re-aired, or in any way resurrected from the dead.

Folks, you can't get more ridiculous than this! The only good thing about this show is how good looking the young women are! Besides that, this tops the "Psychotic Category!" Shows like Three's Company had good humor involved, and were fun and adventurous. What was the whole point of this show? All that happens in this show, is college students in dorm rooms crave sex! They stumble through tons of different people, and show LOTS of one night stands! It's like a "sex soap opera!" There is absolutely no plot to this show! Most were guys with girls, but some gays and lesbians were involved. Personally, I am a college student and can sometimes have fantasies. However, it's bad enough that people my age (and even kids in high school) are goofing around and making real poor choices. Stuff like that can really come back to haunt you! WHY TRY TO PROMOTE SUCH BEHAVIOR TO THE USE OF AMERICA! It was mostly junior high and high school students that watched this show, so I really don't see a point. Sure, it's okay to show bikini contests on TV, but this is just going too far! I see what people mean when they say that TV is the "Vast Wasteland!" Things experienced on this show are NONE OF ANYONE'S BUSINESS except the people involved!THIS SHOW IS NOT WORTH YOUR TIME! Thank goodness they pulled it off the air! Make good use of your time--don't watch junk like this!

UNDRESSED. One of biggest surprises to come from MTV. A hybrid of soap-opera and sit-com, the show chronicles patterns of support and neglect in the relationships of late teens and early 20-somethings as they discover love and sex, and often accept responsibility for their mistakes.Showcasing a variety of issues involving sex and dating: sexual attraction, sexual intercourse, racial relations, sexually-transmitted diseases, homosexuality, lesbianism, masturbation, promiscuity, pregnancy, pornography, sexual discrimination, copulation, prophylactic, marriage, and abstinence (to name a few). There is a great deal of humor to be found in the situations portrayed nightly on the show. For example, a couple is enjoying sex but run into an issue when they realize their sexual activity might be holding them back from communicating with each other. For fear that when they one day cannot enjoy sex, they won't enjoy each other's company... the couple breaks up (following a sordid affair involving a leather-clad exhibitionist babysitter cracking a whip).Or, a gay couple where one partner is concerned his lover might be fantasizing about women (only after he stumbles upon a stash of straight pornographic magazines). As he discovers his lover was only lusting after a former boyfriend who appeared in the magazines, his concerns shift to his lover's feelings on the boyfriend. Well, the lover puts his past with his old boyfriend behind him only to find out that his partner, who coerced him into being proud of his sexuality, had neglected to inform his older brother that he was gay. BAM! Bro shows up for a visit and brings along an attractive friend. We discover that the older brother is gay as well and that his friend is really his boyfriend. The two boyfriends then hook-up and form a plan to force the brothers into exposing their true sexuality by getting too friendly and attempting to make the brothers jealous of each other. After a lot of kiss-and-tell pairing, the two brothers confront each other and bury the odds.Terminally trashed by porn-loving perverts over the net for not showing any sexual activity, this show an often exciting and outrageously hilarious romp through the battlefields of love and playgrounds of sex.
