And what caused the music to stop, whether it be studio politics and/or personal demons. Also, the delight of this series is that it focuses on the talented, yet forgotten stars. Everyone knows the Luther Vandross, the Marvin Gaye, the Billie Holliday, and the Diana Ross. But what about Phyllis Hyman, Donny Hathaway, DeBarge, etc..., prepare yourself for some enlightening, entertaining, and at times saddening, moments while watching this.
