Perfect cast and a good story
TrueHello
Fun premise, good actors, bad writing. This film seemed to have potential at the beginning but it quickly devolves into a trite action film. Ultimately it's very boring.

This show is just terrible. Like actually don't waste your time. It's so predictable, pathetic, boring and odd.
So many issues in the story, terrible terrible acting (sorry to the cast) like laughable acting.
The sound effects are odd and so budget. Oh.. and why doesn't any one care that Athena is "missing"??
I could go on, but all I have to say is don't bother!

Witches of East End is a show that after streaming you have NO QUESTION why it only lasted two seasons. While if desperate to stream a show, and you like the genre, it isn't good but it will pass the time and not so bad you can't stand it. Not a glowing endorsement, not meant to be. The characters are good enough and the story has its interesting points, but no question this is B level show. In the midst of constant horrific events, the characters are both a little to happy and way to naive; especially those who are centuries old. Way to many people get killed without any plausible link between their deaths and any concern. Like when Dash's (good name for handsome warlock) mother gets thrown into a furnace and burned up in season 1 finale and at the start of season 2 she is declared as having committed suicide. A lot of things like that where there is no logical path from point A to point B and the audience is just supposed to accept it. Rich woman in biggest mansion in town disappears and it is assumed a suicide? Not in any world. There are some good points, but a lot of obvious plots that should be obvious to the centuries old Princess but she is continuously oblivious which gets old fast. I forced myself to watch season 2 to its conclusion just so I could be sure that a) they left us hanging and b) my assessment to point held true.Watch if you REALLY need something to fill the gap, but keep your expectations low. Even Vampire Diaries season 7 and 8 are far better; setting the bar pretty low.

Why is that every time there is a show that I love and can't wait for each weeks new episode the series is canceled? This show was a favorite of mine and my daughters. There were never any dull moments and you were always left with a cliff hanger that had you on your toes waiting for the next episode. The cast selection was excellent - I usually get a bit bored with a show after the first season if story lines don't change but not here. Witches of East End changed this up and it only got more exciting as it went along. Please bring this great show back! Maybe take some of those reality shows off to bring this one back??

I was really excited to hear this show was coming and boy it did not disappoint. This show has an essence of charmed about it, but it is so much more. The characters and casting for this show are great. The story behind it is very involving. You really feel for everyone during their ups and downs, I watched a whole season in a week....I have never done that before. The special effects are pretty cool, Joanna played by Julia Ormond is fantastic as the mother and head witch in the family. I love how her personality clashes with her sister played by the lovely & spirited Madchen Amick who plays Wendy. Wendy has made me laugh with her quick wit and sparkling personality. The daughters are both acted perfectly by Rachel Boston as Ingrid and Jenna Dewan as Freya. They all seem to have a very real chemistry that makes it believable that they are a family in this show. The men in the show do an amazing job, Dash & Killian are both the icing on the cake. Heartthrobs and smart, perfectly paired with these amazing Beauchamp witches. This show is a winner in every way! Every episode I seen so far, had me at the edge of my seat. Unpredictable and just so much fun. I love this show.I am eagerly anticipating season 3.
